This hotel offers good value for money mainly due to its convenient location. All the staff I encountered were friendly and helpful, which made my stay pleasant. However, the facilities fell short of expectations. The room did not come with a toothbrush kit or bathroom slippers (perhaps available upon request), and there was no kettle thus hot water had to be obtained upon request. Air-conditioning worked, but the coolness was irregular and sometimes noisy. Overall, while the location and service were commendable, the limited in-room amenities and erratic facilities resulted in a lower rating for me. Breakfast was basic, so better to eat elsewhere.

We only stayed one night in the gorgeous boutique hotel. The hotel felt like we were staying in someone’s house we felt so welcome. The decor in the hotel and the rooms is beautiful and unique. Our room was spacious with a very comfy large bed. My only little snag would be the towels in the bathroom. I think they need to replace them as they were quite old and a bit shabby. The citrus aroma as you walk into the hotel gives a really welcome feel. The staff were really helpful with restaurant recommendations etc. We were driving and the hotel have allocated spaces in a carpark 100 mtrs from the hotel. You can pull in at the hotel and leave your bags. They will give you a fob and a carpark space number. Parking is €22 per night. The carpark is really tight as with all in the old quarters of towns . The location is perfect step outside and walk to enjoy the amazing sights and feel the buzz of Granada. We wished we were staying longer, next time!!

Nos alojamos en el hotel Gar Anat durante una escapada a Granada y la experiencia no pudo ser mejor. La ubicación es inmejorable: en pleno centro histórico, a pocos pasos de la Catedral, la Plaza Nueva y con fácil acceso a la Alhambra. Ideal para recorrer la ciudad a pie y disfrutar del encanto de sus calles. El hotel tiene muchísimo encanto, con una decoración cuidada y una mezcla perfecta entre lo histórico y lo moderno. Pero si hay algo que nos sorprendió gratamente fue el desayuno: una selección deliciosa y muy bien presentada, con productos frescos, de calidad y opciones tanto dulces como saladas. Se nota que está preparado con mimo. Sin duda, una opción excelente para quien busque una estancia con personalidad, comodidad y buena atención en el corazón de Granada.

Gorgeous hotel in the best location. So easy to walk everywhere. Spotlessly clean beautifully decorated and modern bathroom. Staff friendly and helpful. Our room was on the 2nd floor with balcony facing the street but very quiet. Our son’s room was 1st floor and they equally loved it. Fantastic value for money. Will definitely return and would not hesitate to recommend to all.

Wunderschönes und geschmackvoll wie auch liebevoll mit Liebe zum Details gestaltetes Haus mitten in der Altstadt, nicht weit vom ehem. jüdischen Viertel und zum arabischen Markt gelegen. Jeder Raum ist traditionell nach einem Motto eingerichtet, wir hatten das Zimmer Ithaka. Gerade in den aktuellen Temperaturen war die Klimaanlage extrem wichtig, die trotz bis zu 39 Grad beste Dienste leistete. Der Frühstücksraum im Keller ist urig, eine lange Tafel für alle Gäste zusammen mit einer sehr zuvorkommenden älteren Dame als gute Seele. Die Auswahl entspricht einem 3 Sterne Haus, war immer frisch, Wurst und Käse dazu Eierspeisen, besonders das spanische Omelett ist hervorzuheben, der Kaffee kommt aus einer Nespresso. Das Personal insgesamt ist sehr nett, gibt via WhatsApp auch Tipps für Restaurants und Flamenco-Shows, bietet jeweils auch Platzreservierungen an. Eigentlich vom Ambiente her 5 Sterne, leider aber lag unser Zimmer zur „Anlieger frei-Gasse“, auf der erheblicher Verkehr herrschte, von Motorrollern über die kleinen roten Autobusse und sonstige PKW. Selbst bei geschlossenen Fenstern war es gerade nachts recht laut, gerne hätten wir morgens etwas Luft (nicht nur Klimaanlage) ins Zimmer gelassen, das wäre aber zum Schlafen deutlich zu laut gewesen. Es gibt auch Zimmer zur anderen Seite, die sind daher sicher perfekt.

The hotel, set in a historical building, has a lovely ambience and decor, with a water fountain and artworks from a local artist in the atrium, and breakfast downstairs in the renovated cellar. Staff are friendly and helpful. The biggest plus point is its location - just a few minutes’ walk to the cathedral and with local bus stops either across the road or a minutes’ walk away, meaning you can get to both the Alhambra and Albaicin really easily. Our only slight regret was not booking a larger room - the economy rooms are absolutely fine but a bit ‘snug’. Loved our stay and would definitely recommend here as a base whilst in Granada.
