Trossos del Priorat

Si te gusta el mundo del vino, este es un hotel imprescindible en tu visita al Priorat! Ubicado a las afueras del pueblo de Gratallops, la entrada te regala unas vistas espectaculares de la ladera donde se ubica tanto el hotel como la propia bodega! Diseño minimalista y moderno de la parte exterior perfectamente integrado con el entorno, y con materiales nada invasores del paisaje! La sala de estar con la chimenea y los grandes ventanales que dan acceso a la terraza mirador son sencillamente espectaculares! La sala/cocina súper bien equipada, con un honesty bar para servirte a tu antojo todo aquello que quieras tanto de productos locales, refrescos y por supuesto vinos de la bodega tanto a copas como en botellas enteras. Zona de terraza con barbacoa para prepararte tus comidas o cenas. Las habitaciones son muy confortables y acogedoras, con materiales cálidos para dar más confort y con una pequeña terraza donde volver a contemplar el increíble paisaje del Priorat! El desayuno muy completo y con posibilidad de pedir platos calientes como huevos, tortillas etc… la verdad que el hotel tiene muchísimo encanto, y la experiencia merece mucho la pena! 100% recomendable y con ganas de repetir en breve, ya que nos ha enamorado!

Beautiful, restful setting overlooking vineyards. Off in the distance, the town church bells and rooster crow floats across the valley. Excellent breakfast with high quality pastries, fresh squeezed juice and made to order eggs by charming staff. Dining and living shared area have separate entries so easy to be alone despite other guests. Honor wine bar, very good wine. We loved the private terrace too. Good design, just enough decor, great shower. Would love to come back for a week.

I spent a few nights at Trossos del Priorat on a recent trip to Spain. It was my second time staying at this property having stayed there previously in 2016 so I knew exactly what i was getting into. Overall i was very satisfied with my stay, I opted to go and get some cold cuts, cheese and bread for dinner and it was nice to eat outside on the beautiful terrace. The kitchen is overall well appointed but clearly some of the amenities are in need of an update as they are showing their wear. My room was cozy and comfortable with a nice private balcony however it could use some better proofing as I could easily hear the guest next door. I did the wine tasting which was very nice, the hostess was very knowledgeable and it was interesting to hear about the wines produced by the property and I would definitely recommend you do it if you are staying there.

De Priorat is naast de Rioja van de beste Spaanse wijnen. Wij hebben aan het verblijf in Trossos heel mooie herinneringen. Bestel zeker de picknickmand voor met een glaasje wijn te veroberen op je terrasje met prachtig zicht. De open keuken is ook een meerwaarde. Ook het modern disign viel erg in onze smaak. Toplocatie dus! Enkel nogal bochtige weg er naar toe maar dit resulteert in een prachtige rustige wijnstreek met het Montsantgebergte op de achtergrond. Siurama en Escaladei zijn dorpjes in de buurt die ook heel mooi zijn!

Last summer we had a short stay at Trossos del Priorat and loved it so when we decided to visit the Priorat region again recently, we immediately booked at Trossos. We love the setting of the hotel, built as part of the winery with comfortable rooms. The communal kitchen and lounge areas are a special touch, especially if you order one of the picnic baskets which are very generous, made up of fresh produce of the area, some meats, bread and cheese and a tasty desert placed into the fridge. An honesty bar has their lovely wines for tasting as well as beer. The views from each room, the dining and lounge areas are amazing, as is the tranquility of the surroundings The breakfast is good and the staff are very helpful and friendly, especially Diana, who conducts the wine tours and knows so much about the Priorat region and the wines of the area. Nothing is too much trouble for Diana and she will do anything to make your stay remarkable in every way. Thanks Diana and your team.
