Travelodge Telford

I stay at this Travelodge a couple of times a month just because I like the location. Concrete jungle Town centre outside the door, or park and huge woodland walks that they must have sunk millions in to. I have got to know the staff well over time who are all incredibly friendly and helpful. Especially the Supervisor Amhie Shamley. She is very helpful as I have mild autism which sometimes makes simple things difficult, so I just go and "annoy" Amhie and she always makes time to help me out and makes me feel really welcome.

Great service from reception, Amelou was very helpful. Hotel was clean, room was what I expected. My only negative about this hotel is that make sure you get a room looking over the lake, last time the room was over looking the bar’s and was quite noisy but I asked to be in a room on other side of the hotel and Amelou happily obliged.

Have stayed at Travelodge Telford around 20 nights last month. Check in was seamless every occasion. Fresh rooms and cleanliness has been spot on - Great, professional service from housekeeping to reception and the manager himself 10/10

Location: Perfect for the International Centre, shops, bars and restaurants. Can't fault the location 10/10 Check in: We arrived at 0:10 and the security team stayed on a little extra for us to gain access to the car park outside of the hotel 10/10 and very grateful to the team. But this is where the good news sadly ends Room 204 is a family room looking out towards bars and restaurants. The AC in the room does not power on making the room too warm and uncomfortable. The fan supplied to the room also doesn't work meaning you have to open the window resulting in the room being a little cooler but the bar customers will keep you awake resulting in a poor night sleep. The bedding had over a dozen spots of (I am hoping this was makeup) but I think it could have been dry blood. I am stunned this wasn't spotted by housekeeping. Finally this is only a personal preference regarding breakfast, I thought the breakfast offer was poor but I have to admit I didn't read the small print on booking so that is a lesson learned.

Always love staying at the Travelodge. Aimelou checked me in with great service and a friendly welcome. The bed was large and comfortable and great to sleep in. My room had an amazing view. Love staying at this Travelodge. It’s always great to come back here and stay quite often.
