Dunmow Guesthouse

Just have to say this is a wonderful bed and breakfast with superb facilities. Beautifully kept and immaculate you have the added benefit of heated indoor pool, cinema room and bar/games. The owners are lovely and friendly looking after you superbly. Our room had an extremely comfortable large bed and modern en-suite. Lots of lovely extras like sweets and drinks with a very quiet fridge. Unsurprisingly the breakfast choice was excellent with a hearty cooked breakfast. Sadly I had strained my knee so could not use the facilities but wife had a great time in the pool where you can book your own private time. As with all the other well deserved reviews if you are looking to stay locally then book up at the Dunmow you won’t be disappointed.

We really enjoyed our stay. The hosts made us feel very welcome. The room was clean and spacious and had everything we needed. The swimming pool was a lovely addition and a good breakfast was included. We would definitely stay again.

We were attending a wedding reception nearby and were recommended this B&B. Impressed by by reception, and shown round by the host, Cinema, swimming pool! Our rooms on the first floor, well-appointed, large bed, separate shower and toilet. The bed was fantastic comfortable and lots of room. Despite overlooking the main road into the town, it was quiet overnight. Brilliant breakfast, freshly cooked, hit food. All in all very good experience and would recommend to anyone!

We booked a last minute night away on a Friday night as a couple. From the moment we arrived we had everything we needed. Rob couldn't have done more for us, the facilities were exceptional- we made use of the indoor heated pool, watched a movie in the cinema room and enjoyed darts & billiards in the games room with our own drinks! We had a large double room, en-suite, mini-fridge, hot drink facilities and complimentary chocolates and biscuits! Breakfast was fantastic, fresh fruit, yoghurt, cereals and a cooked meal of our choice! We have recommended the Dunmow guest House to many of our friends and can't wait to return for another night soon! Thank you! Chloe & Danny
