The Troll Cart Wetherspoon

the Wetherspoons was a nice building, and nice seating area loved the booths, service is extremely slow, table service waiting half an hour for a drink, nobody at the bar, also ordered peanuts at 1.09 got offered a bag of crisps value 93p, and also ordered strawberries 2x portions and they said they didn't have any left at price 1.20 ended up with an extra scoop of ice-cream worth 40p at the most with my cookie crunch desert, as they don't know how to 86 item. overall still would visit due to cheap drinks :)

Great selection of drinks including real ales and exceptional value! Visited for drinks when on holiday nearby at one of the holiday parks. Service was friendly and fast. Would definitely return. There were 5 or 6 real ales available on hand pull, and on a Wednesday they were discounted to around £2 a pint. Bargain! Enjoyed the guest ales in particular.

No sooner had we placed the order via the app and our drinks arrived at the table, the food also came really quickly. The food looked great and tasted delicious, we had the chicken tikka and the bbq chicken breast. We would definitely recommend it.

We are currently staying at the Wetherspoons Troll Cart in Great Yarmouth. We are in a family room as it was the last room available to book. It’s just lovely. We like a seating area and this has a sofa that turns into a bed. The room is huge. The bathroom has a bath with a shower in it and a separate walk in shower, just wonderful. Can’t beat staying at a ‘Spoons’ hotel, we have stayed in several and all have been really good.

We stayed in room 303, the bed was rock hard and extremely uncomfortable. The bed sheet had a dark long hair towards the bottom of the bed. The pillows were rock hard. The facilities are great and the room size is great. We have stayed at the troll cart many many times and usually everything is excellent. I have always given excellent reviews for the rooms , for the staff, but this time, for the first time ever have written this review. We couldn't find any staff on reception to make a complaint about the bed. To top it all when we got home we realised we had left a phone charger behind. When I phoned to ask where it was, DAVID from the bar said it hadn't been handed in. We know we left it there, so somebody has taken it, presumably from housekeeping. DAVID was very angry with his responses to my questions regarding the phone charger. When he answered the phone he just said " Troll cart" , not very professional. It was an Apple charger and they are quite expensive to buy, so now we have to buy another one. 😕😕

Visited here as usually go to GY once or twice a week on holiday . Was very busy staff were serving but at one end only so had to wait , seemed a little unorganised this time . Tables were far too close together and seemed to just be crammed in which made it difficult to get to our table as no space to pass behind chairs from bar area to seating , people passing blocking access too . Lift was available to go upstairs to toilets but did have a sign stating out of service ! However see someone using the lift . Place was very cold as air con on full so left early as was quite uncomfortable . Not the best visit as been go there for a number of years .Lots of glasses, plates, cups uncollected and tables not clean on this visit . Could have been better .
