Room was large, comfy, and quiet with a great location on the river. Service was why it lost a star. Realized I was charged more than my email reservation showed. Had to go in and request a refund which I got. They have a cook to order restaurant which was ok. What turned us off was my wife was only one that could not get it until we brought our coupons in room key was not enough so went back upstairs to find them. As we ate our breakfast most were not asked for the coupon and those that were asked didn't need to go get theirs to get breakfast.

Green River, Utah is a great stopping place on the second night of our road trip to Palm Springs. We discovered the River Terrace Inn last year, and had no hesitation to stay there again. Soft beds, quiet surroundings, and great water pressure. Easy on and off from I-70. They have a great breakfast, with a special made-to-order feature. For dinner, the Tamarisk Restaurant is right next door. I'm sure we'll be back.

We were just passing through and needed a place to take a break for the evening. We almost booked at a hotel chain, but when we saw other reviews here we decided to give an independent place a try and as usual, the experience at a mom and pop place was awesome! The room was huge, plenty of towels, two sinks - one inside the bathroom, one outside, good water pressure, a nice little balcony with chairs overlooking the river, comfortable bed and pillows, and an awesome made to order breakfast that was included. The front desk gave us a great recommendation for dinner (local spot called Rays Tavern) and then we enjoyed the nice outdoor furniture on the hotel grounds. Highly recommend this place - how a hotel experience should be!

I booked this hotel on our way to Capitol Reef National Park because of the great reviews. It is possibly the largest regular hotel room I've ever stayed in! This felt a bit like going back to hotel stays in my youth (1990's) but they did their best to make it feel fresh and clean despite the dated decor. What really made this hotel was their breakfast - it was the best included breakfast I've ever had - made to order egg dishes, French toast, homemade cinnamon rolls. Just make sure you include all staying on your reservation as they give you a ticket for each person on the reservation. We also had an absolutely fantastic meal next door at Tamarisk. The rest of the town is a bit seedy but we felt completely safe where this hotel is located.

This little hotel is super clean and comfortable. They serve a lovely fresh breakfast in the morning. Do not hesitate to stay here. It is perfect and reasonably priced! Green river is in the middle of no where so it was a pleasant surprise to find this gem

What a hidden gem! We have been on the road for 15 days and most nights wete spent in chain hotels. The River Terrace was outstanding. Clean spacious rooms that have been remodled. Balcony with a view of the river and sunset. Terrific breakfast. Simply the best!

Large room, real wood not particle board furniture, table, desk, 2 chairs , a couch and dresser. Bathroom counter is long enough you can leave your "stuff" on. 2 queen room had a total of 12 towels and washcloths both good quality. Light bulbs with enough wattage to read with or just generally see well. We bring our bulbs as almost no one provides enough light to read by. Quiet except for people who do not care about anyone else and let doors slam. Friendly helpful desk help. Excellent quality for the money.

For some reason, I thought every room had a view of the river. Half the motel did if your room number was even. For one night, it was not that big of a deal. However, if we were staying for a length of time, I would have definitely wanted a different room. There were chairs to sit outside along the river. However, once dusk approached, the mosquitos came out. They chased us inside. Rooms were big! It is nice to have a table with chairs where you can actually sit down to read or eat. The best part about this motel was the breakfast. You were given a ticket that was checked in the morning. You handed over your ticket and placed your order. (I chose a delish veggie omelet!) The sides were you all-you-can-eat and serve yourself. I wish all breakfasts on vacation were this good!

Came into Green river the day before our stay. Checked out multiple hotels for our stay. Wife is in a wheelchair so we have to be careful where we stay. This hotel was the only one that would not let me see a room before booking. Decided to book it anyway due to a recommendation from a local and the clerk said handicap room was available. Came in next night to find the room was hardly accessible. Bathroom door was small. Barely fit wheel chair in. Bathroom door completely blocked toilet when opened. Grab bar beside toilet was wrong bar turned vertical.no where ada height. Unusable.bath tub had no vertical grab bar to enter and horizontal bar was also at the wrong height. Way to high. Clerk offered refund but by that time all else was sold out. So the wife had to use the bathroom in the bedroom on portable toilet we carry because Bathroom was unaccessible for a person in a wheelchair. Should not be allowed to advertise as handicap. Other wise room was nice and clean.perfectly acceptable for normal people without disabilities.
