The best and I mean best part of this stay was last night May 31 2025. The clerk came and showed exactly how to work something that was frustrating this guest. What I'd improve is LETTING PEOPLE KNOW OF THE HONESTY of the clerks. The night clerk saved the day/night! Came after many hours driving because AVIS no longer lets you have cars that automatically have cell phone charges that work with most phones. MEANING they did NOT provide a USB charger, so this customer was forced to wait 3 to 5 hours for the correct car with a USB charger. THE CAR they gave was at 1 am in the morning with a connection t hat DOES NOT WORK with most phones. Therefore after hours of waiting in the AVIS section of the airport, the 6 am AVIS supervisor got a correct ed car as asked for in the reservation. (The Night AVIS attendant was beyond incompetent, but Avis provides no oversight from 3 to 6 am. nightly. This caused a complete level of exhaustion at 2 am the early morning of Jun 1st, SUNDAY. AND ,,,,,,,,,, read this. Econolodge employee got to save the day, provide the safe alert driver that I am today after good sleep and safe feeling of the enterprise/business cares about customers paying hard earned dollars. (unlike Avis). The night clerk did quick reserve at an odd hour of night (for daytime folks) of a splendid room. It could be said, the night clerk, Terry saved the life perhaps of this customer. We spoke at the desk, he immediately got a rate UNDER 100 bucks. He later also helped out in a very human way. This driver was so exhausted from that big glitch by a major US company/Avis leaving customer distracted and overwhelmed. It became clear that the hotel reservation further along the journey would NOT be reached within an hour or two. Best to choose at this late midnight hour to pull off and find a good place to rejuvenate. As cutomer was unloading the food bag and regular airline bag on wheels the horrific treatment by AVIS was still having it's distracting effects. (more in another review on AVIS) So outside this establishment the 2 items were left. AND The clerk Terry was kind and efficient. He retrieved the items left out on the front outside vestibule. He obviously did NOT wish to call as that could have woken a person in real need of sleep, .having waited hours from 2 am in Hartsfield Intl Airport /Atlanta for the CORRECT USB port ammenity in the already paid for AVIS RENTAL CAR. Terry protected the items and placed them INSIDE at the front desk of the Econo Lodge. Upon waking this customer met with the Day Front desk and said thanks so much for placing these items in a safe spot to be claimed by this room number.... The day man at desk honestly gave the honoring to the proper co worker. He said thank Terry, the night clerk. Terry is the one who accomplished that protection providing peace and calm for the customer
