"We were here second time with our little kid and we really like this camping! All personal super cute and helpful, especially animators! Animation works all day for kids and adults. "Location is perfect when traveling by train as it’s right next to the Grosseto station. You can also get to the city center (main Piazza) within 10-15mins of walking. The room was spacious for a solo traveler like myself. Just note that they don’t provide dental amenities (toothpaste & toothbrush). Otherwise the amenities are great, and the shower area is big too. The front desk staff are friendly and tried their best to communicate to me in English. There is a lift so don’t worry about huge suitcases. Breakfast spread is great and huge shoutout to the friendly staff/barista Raimona (hope I spelled it correctly) for amazing coffee and always greeting with a big smile on the mornings!"

"Very well-organised structure, very clean room as well as the rest of the structure, we had the opportunity to stay for one night only, but we certainly know where to go if we go back to Grosseto, very close to all services. There is no way to cook a breakfast except tea or coffee, we recommend that you make available a small electric plate for a possible breakfast in the room. For the rest, everything is really okay."

"Grand hotel Bastiani is just cozy and elegant and you're welcomed by a young and helpful staff. I've been traveling to Grosseto on a monthly basis for years now and I think I have stayed in all the facilities in the neighborhood.. Honestly this is the one where I found myself more at ease, rooms are spotless, spacious and tastefully furnished, above all they are quiet, which is unthinkable inside the walls, trust me. The breakfast is wonderful, rich and greedy. Combines the variety of the English breakfast with the flavors of the Maremma enriched by fresh fruit, homemade cakes and freshly baked croissants. Don't forget to enjoy teh espresso at the bar which wakes you up in one sip! I must highlight the politeness and the elegant availability of the Director, who managed to satisfy the particular needs of my elderly parents with whom I was traveling. Not to mention the discreet but punctual presence of the staff on duty from early morning until late at night. location is great, perfect to explore the city on foot and just 10 minuts drive to the beach. I will definitely return there at the end of the month and for the next trips. I'm so happy to have found my oasis of peace and kindness in which to rest and regenerate during my daring journeys in the Maremma."

"Visited the restaurant although we were not staying as guests. Went twice and the restaurant was excellent. The pizzas were very very good and not too expensive. The fried Calamari was also very nice. The staff were polite and helpful and the surroundings were very pleasant. A meal with drinks for 7 people came to €120 which was good value. If you do visit there is plenty of parking but remember to bring some ID as one of the group needs to keep a copy at reception."

"جيد جدا الهيكل مرتب والغرفة نظيفة وكذلك بقية الهيكل .. حظينا بفرصة للبقاء ليلة واحدة فقط .. ولكن بالتأكيد نعرف إلى أين نذهب إذا عدنا إلى غروسيتو .. قريب جدا من جميع الخدمات. لا يوجد طرق لطهي وجبة الافطار ماعدا الشاي او القهوة ننصح بتوفر بطانية كهربائية صغيرة لتناول الافطار الممكن عمله في الغرفة وبالنسبة للبقية، كل شيء على ما يرام."

"We arrived at 11pm and the person who attended to us did not know how to check in, so he asked us to leave our personal documents there until the next day. We politely explained to him that we preferred not to leave them and that he should please make a photocopy. He, although annoyed and rude, did so. When we got to the room we saw that 6 metres from our window there was a crane truck more than 20 metres high and 30 metres long, so I went down to reception to ask what time the works started in the morning. "At 7 in the morning," he told me. I asked him to change our room and very upset he called his manager by phone to tell him literally "we have a problem, there is a lady who complains about everything. First, she did not want to leave me the documents and now she says that there is a crane in front of her room. I do not know what to do with her. I can't take it anymore!!" He handed me the phone and the person in charge told me that we could change to a room with a different orientation and on another floor. When I hung up I told the receptionist and he replied "absolutely not! You heard my boss, either the room you have or you leave! Besides, you have to leave me the documents or pay right now." We paid and went to sleep with our eyes wide open... so as not to argue with a person who we understood was not capable of having a "normal" conversation. The room was 30°C, there was a lot of noise during the night, we fell asleep from sheer exhaustion at about 2 in the morning... The typical nightmare of choosing between "open window, with noise or frozen air conditioning." At 7:30 in the morning there was a crane in motion, with floors, engine, with workers shouting, moving materials... with a window from the 60s closed with the same soundproofing as a cigarette paper. Otherwise, cardboard sheets, together with the heat, were a nightmare, tacky seventies decor, and a meager breakfast. The good: the coffee was from a machine (but this is de rigueur in all of Italy), it was very clean, the bathroom was new and the water came out very well. The antipodes of welcoming. Above all, the treatment was VERY UNPLEASANT. We continued our vacation exhausted, looking forward to a nap."
