"The room was spacious, and the parking lot was also large and convenient. The front desk staff were welcoming, and there were snacks available at the entrance. We booked a smart room in this building, which had a more modern decor. The toilet was a smart toilet, and they even provided conditioner. The room was very quiet. The breakfast was average; it would have been better if the room had a humidifier."

"The Shuixie Hotel is in a very good location, by the lake in the park. After dinner, take a walk and enjoy the cool breeze. There is also the Zhang Zhi Memorial Hall, but unfortunately we didn't have time to visit it. The hotel accommodation is very cheap and it is very convenient to drive to the nearby food city. We also fell in love with Guazhou because of this hotel."

"Facilities: Smart toilet, the facilities are quite new, air conditioning is powerful, and there are washing machines and dryers available – just ask for laundry detergent at the front desk. Plenty of parking spaces, no need to worry about finding a spot, including covered parking areas. Cleanliness: Clean and hygienic, sheets and blankets changed after each guest. I saw a cleaning lady changing sheets and blankets when I left. Service: The front desk staff were warm and friendly. Environment: Close to supermarkets and shopping malls; a 7-8 minute ride on an electric scooter from the entrance. Many places to eat, the supermarket has yogurt, and durian is super cheap at night – 20 yuan for a durian! Slept soundly through the night. A great place to stay on the way to Dunhuang. No photos to show, but the beautiful scenery will do."

We brought two melons back to the hotel and asked them to cut them for us. To our surprise, they cut them into chunks and added ice! The melons from Guazhou are indeed sweet."

"The room was large, but the breakfast was a bit weak. However, it seems that in Guazhou, there aren't many options if you want a clean and hygienic place to stay. It's very close to a street full of night market stalls, just a few hundred meters away, with melon vendors along the way. Guazhou melons are indeed good, but as an out-of-towner, you should definitely compare prices. Although they're not worth much, if you get ripped off on the melons you eat in Guazhou, the experience will be much less pleasant."
