Take time out from the road at our eco-friendly Super 8 Monroe hotel. Located on Hwy 69 S at 6th St. between New Glarus and Janesville we are minutes from Swiss Colony Outlet Center Blackhawk Technical College and New Glarus - Americas Little Switzerland. Only 40 miles from Madison enjoy quick access to attractions including shopping restaurants and cheese-making destinations. We are also about a two-hour drive from Chicago.
"The person at the front desk was pleasant and gave a great recommendation for dinner. The room had pet hair on the mattress but didn't smell like pets or cigarettes despite it having carpet. The only real problem was the toilet keep leaking and no the toilet was not sweating and the heat also kept shutting off when you would leave the room so when you came back from the pool you couldn't be warm.
The pool was nice and the hot tub was warm. The pool towels were on the deck so you didn't have to go to the front desk to get them. Breakfast was mediocre to say the most.
