I took a forced week off with no special plans. With my pregnant wife and child, I randomly chose a city I'd visited on a previous business trip. Since my child loves the ocean and swimming, we ended up choosing this hotel. Environment: The ambiance is excellent, with a direct ocean view. There aren't any large commercial complexes nearby, so it's quiet at night, and my mornings are a bit off-kilter. The backyard by the sea is still being maintained, but I'm sure it'll get even better. Service: The hotel staff was welcoming and helpful. My managers, Li Na and Zhang Hong, were both excellent. Facilities: For a hotel of this star rating, it had everything you'd expect. The Chinese restaurant was good, and the buffet was quite varied. The hotel's own swimming pool was a key factor in my choice. The pool bottom was cleaned and the water was replaced promptly. Cleanliness: Overall, the sanitation was quite good. The air was quite humid at this time of year, and while there was a dehumidifier, I suggest the hotel replace the carpet, as it can have a slight odor.
