"This pub has the worst staff of any pub ever. Whilst we were there before we went to dinner, our friends left since there was one barman and a line up at the bar of 10 people. Later our son was told they had run out of schooner glasses so stood patiently wait lug for 15 mins to be told he was cut off for being rude. I went to the bar to order him a beer, to be told because I was with him, I was also cut off. This is terrible service from very poor bar staff."

"Great location, room was ok however would be nice if they had an update. Cleaners were a bit loud though in the morning too early before the checkout time. Overall ok though. A bit noisy if you get one of the front rooms if you book over the weekend though."

"The Room was ok and air-conditioned and had an Iron which was very handy, the toilet was quite basic and fine for me. The staff were great and the sheets were clean and replaced daily which was great. But the Cockroaches 🪳 was abit off. Cloud definitely do with new beds and deep clean."

"Busy night in Newcastle with Matilda's and Cyndi Lauper. This location suited me and it was amazing. I arrived by train and 15 minute walk from Hamilton Station. Julie welcomed me and I felt very secure and comfortable. There is a kitchenette downstairs to make coffee and tea at any time. I was offered a lovely cheese platter. Quiet street and still minutes away from restaurants and cafes in Beaumont Street. Spacious room and huge bathroom with separate shower and bath/spa. There is a small balcony with table and chairs. Bed very comfortable and breakfast delicious. Hope to visit again and it would be a lovely place to stay as a couple. Air/Con or windows and door which are fully screened. Hope to return as a couple and see more of Newcastle"

"I contacted the hotel at noon on the day of check-in, and then the hotel sent me the password via text message at around 3pm. The room was very large, and you had to scan the password to enter the door and the room, and the passwords were different. It felt very safe. The front desk was very friendly. I didn't need anything to check out, and I just left. The hotel parking fee was 25 per night, but there was free parking on the street."

"Confusing access as no reception. Once sorted, it was fine. Good to have under coverage garage for the car. Late evening and during the night, we both experienced a strange buzz/vibration through the floor and beds. We did not have the air conditioner on."

"After turning up to our booked accommodation to find they had no record of our booking we chanced upon on this B&B and I'm so glad we did. The owners were lovely and very helpful. The rooms are large and spotlessly clean. The beds were comfortable, and the bathroom had a bath and a separate shower. Breakfast was included and was very tasty. The location is 100m from Beaumont St, which has many eateries and a pub. We were going to a concert at the entertainment centre which was an easy 20 minute walk. Overall it was very good value for money, and I will certainly stay again."
