Basically Hammamet gardens hotel and spa is not as advertised. Stayed for 10 days June 2025, family holiday through a well known agent. Rooms are desperately outdated and antiquated, broken taps and shower units, damaged and broken vanity tops, ripped and stained towels, old fridges what you can't open, air conditioning not working rooms not cleaned properly and towels replaced damp or wet if your lucky enough to get them at all. There are 2 pools the main one is good the other has 2 slide which are basically un usable and dangerous. Food is acceptable but not upto 4 star standards. Waiting staff present in dirty and worn out attire. Entertainment staff are way to over powering and harassing, also the Entertainment is of poor quality. The hotel is a 5 minute walk from the beach, not on the beach ass advertised. There is a bar there of a sorts but it offers very little. We paid for full board. Wine and beer etc is served in paper cups or small sipping glasses. Drinking water is rationed to one bottle per room if you want more they charge you, also the water is warm and ice seems to be a luxury. The hotel is 10 minutes by car to the new madina and fifteen to 20 mins by car to the old madina. I was lucky enough to have a hire car otherwise it would be a taxi ride anywhere to which they charge per person. There is nothing on the street in front of the hotel other than a few local bars and a couple of shops, anything else is a car ride away. In all we were very disappointed with the hotel and it's location, in my opinion it should be downgraded to a 2 or 3☆at very best, very very poor asstablishment all round.
