Location was ideal, walking distance to everything and easy to find / parking. Cooking facilities okay if basic requirements for 1-2 people maximum. Friendly front desk staff, generously gifted us a bottle of wine for our anniversary. Would stay again.

I've been trying to put my finger on why I thought this place was so good. In theory a motel is a motel right. Well yes, but somehow the Inn just felt really comfortable. It might have been the super friendly guy that welcomed us and showed us around, it might have been the super clean accommodation, maybe it was the easy parking right outside, or the plantings around the place. Whatever, it worked for us.

Superior motel centrally situated
The upstairs unit is spacious and comfortable. Recently refurbished and with good views and good value. We will stay again.

I was due to stay at this property for the local Hammer half marathon, but due to the road from where we live on Banks Peninsula being closed for nearly 3 days, called property to cancel and request cancellation fees be waived the day before actual stay, and owner said NO due to operational requirements,, they had plenty of time to resell it and would have due to the event and no accommodation being available, but No was the answer, Pure greed from the non local owners.

Booked via ******* at a good discount but on check-in was charged full going rate - no discount!
Otherwise,very good room, quiet with the doors/windows closed but quite noisey (7am to 6pm) with nearby bulding process.
