Not Recommended – Disappointing Experience Despite Convenient Location The hotel is conveniently located near Hanoi’s Old Quarter, which makes exploring the city easy. We booked the family room with a balcony, which was a good size and seemed suitable for our family. However, the hotel itself is quite old and dim inside. The room had a musty smell, especially with the old air conditioning system. The bathroom was not clean, and the amenities provided were very basic. We had a 6 PM flight the next day, so we requested a late checkout. The hotel agreed but charged extra for a 3 PM checkout, which we accepted. However, due to Hanoi’s traffic, we arrived slightly before 3 PM only to find that the housekeeping staff had already started cleaning our room. Two family members managed to shower quickly, but the rest of us were told to use the lobby toilet instead—which was filthy and clearly not intended for guest use. It was very disappointing to pay extra for late checkout and still be rushed out and denied proper facilities. Sadly, I cannot recommend this hotel despite its location.

We stayed as a family of five, and the room was spacious and comfortable, featuring two double beds and one single bed. The building had a lift, which was convenient for carrying luggage. The main highlight was the spacious balcony, offering a great view of the street below. The hotel is located right in the Old Quarter, making access to key places very convenient. I also appreciated the variety of nearby eateries, ranging from cafés to local delicacies, as well as the many spa options. A Circle K convenience store was just a few shops away. The only downside was that there was only one toilet (we had assumed the connecting room would have two), but it wasn’t an issue for us. Housekeeping came daily to clean the room.

Location for this HOtel is amazing, within walking distance (say 10 mins walk) to the BEer Street, Train STreet, the Lake, lots of eateries and shops to browse. A Michelin starred little cafe is just 20 steps away , food was amazing, and cheap. Introduced to us by Ms Mai from our hotel. We had room with bkfst, small little buffet, with array fruits, cereals, breads, and you can also order a meal from the kitchen, can be eggs, pho, porridge etc. All comfort food. Our room was long and spacious, with a sofa set to chill in the middle of the room. We have stayed here before under the old management but the hotel is still nice and cosy. Good price too. Very recommendable and will stay here again .

Service is not good enough and no proper clean. Location is good. Ask me to stay again, I will reply one word is No

Sheets felt damp and mold in the bathroom. Great service and location but very very tired. Needs a revamp.

Cleanliness room with funny receptionis

Good hotel and location for this price. Super friendly service and nice cleaning. But in the morning very loud from another building. Take ur earplugs with u.

Have you had a Tinder date who looks entirely different from his/her photos? This hotel is exactly that! Do not be deceived by the photos on Trip, run away immediately if you’re assigned room 202 as you will be getting an old run down room with no windows and an extremely cramped toilet. In fact, the room’s shower had ridiculously low water pressure which was impossible to shower with. We appreciate that we were then “upgraded” to another room (602) with window and working toilet. See photos for this “upgraded” room. Nonetheless, service standards was commendable as they took all feedback very seriously, and were genuinely helpful.

The reception was fine, but the room had no windows. It may be difficult for a hotel of this class and location in Hanoi. The most annoying thing was that the shower was only cold enough. There were comments in reviews that the room had a moldy smell and perfume smell, and that was exactly what happened. I won't be coming back.

The hotel is in a good location, next to the street with the train. The rooms are very tired, we were not comfortable in them, the toilet smelled strongly of sewage. It's good that we had a cruise in the morning and we left early. Breakfasts are good, one dish to choose from and a small buffet

The bathroom was very clean and the amenities were complete, including toothbrushes, razors, and cotton swabs. The shower had weak water pressure, and the hair dryer had a weak airflow. The location was great, and it was the best place to go sightseeing! Above all, the staff were very kind! I couldn't speak English or Vietnamese, but they communicated with me without any complaints. They also looked after my suitcase after I checked out, which was very helpful. Thank you!

It's such a rip-off, so unfriendly to Chinese people, small, dirty, I don't know if the sheets have been washed, and there is a strong smell of perfume! The conditions are equivalent to a small hotel in a rural area, the kind that costs 15 yuan a night!

The location is good, close to coffee lanes and churches, and you can also walk to other attractions in Hoan Kiem Lake. The nearby beef noodles, long noodles, and French bread are quite delicious. The staff are warm and considerate. The environment and service are affordable. It is also safe to travel alone. , also provides Hanoi and surrounding tour services for booking. If you are short of days, you can also directly inquire at the counter for motorcycle rental services, which is convenient and does not require holding your passport.
