Hanoi Quan Hoan Kiem 4-star Hotels

The hotel was everything my partner and I could’ve ever wanted in a new country .It was close to everything ,I was able to walk almost everywhere .There is a shopping centre opposite the hotel and a few stores near the hotel .The room was spacious and had a mini fridge,a wardrobe and a cute little balcony .The hotel staff were so helpful throughout our stay .I will definitely come back here

Top notch service like what everyone else mentioned. I was skeptical before my trip and when I was there, I understand why almost all the reviews mentioned their customer service is excellent and it’s not a lie. The reception staff remembers your room number which I feel is a great personal touch. They try their best to resolve your issue, and makes you feels like home. Although there’s a small hiccup during one of my breakfast morning, the apologetic staff did their best to rectify the issue even though it’s not exactly their fault but due to the ignorance of other patrons. I got the bigger room and the space is great, with a separate sofa dining area, spacious bathroom and very huge bed. Only downside is the small tv for a big room and no shelter infront of the hotel that makes it hard for you to return or go out the hotel if it’s raining heavily. Their welcome drink and snacks is good- and thank you for the tea leaves and dried apricot when I was leaving the hotel. If you are looking for a hotel that is around the old quarters of Hanoi, choose this.

We enjoyed our 1N stay in Emerald Waters thoroughly. It’s a pity we could not get another night with the same hotel after our Halong Bay tour as it was fully booked. The receptionist, Claire was very friendly and helpful upon our checked in. We stayed at the Family Room with city view. So the room and bathroom was spacious and clean. Location was perfect as it is just 5 mins walk to Hoan Kiem Lake and we don’t find our outside surrounding to be noisy during the night time too. Will recommend tourists to book their stay here. Will definitely return to this hotel on our next trip to Hanoi in future.

Lovely boutique hotel in the Old Quarter. At first, I thought the lobby decor was a bit too garish with so much red, but it was the ***** New Year anyway when I stayed there, so the oriental influenced decor was befitting. From the time I check in to when I check out, the staff were ever friendly and helpful.A special shout out to Ken, Emma, and Mira for making my stay so enjoyable. Breakfast is semi-buffet style and is the best I had while staying in Hanoi, with mains being selected from a good range of options from local to western, and you can have as many as you can finish. The taste and quality were superb.. LOVED the chef's egg benedict! Location wise , it is good with many dining options nearby and a short walk to Lake Hoa Kim. Bed was comfy and pillows fluffy to sleep on. I was just a tad disappointed was seeing a bug on the bed when I first checked in. Otherwise , everything else was superb.

The location of the hotel is great! Not too far away from the touristy area but also not too near to be too noisy from the heavy traffic. The room is clean and tidy, basic toiletries provided. The only cons I have about the place is the doors are not soundproof, so you could hear the noise outside especially in the morning hours, next the toilet always have a faint sewage smell (this seems to be a common occurrence with the hotel/airbnb I stayed so far in vietnam

I was planning a trip to Hanoi when Trip.com's homepage recommended a special deal for this hotel. I booked it without much prior research, and it turned out to be a wonderful surprise! Firstly, the decor is absolutely exquisite. The building itself is a French colonial villa, resembling a historic site, with a distinct Southeast Asian flair. The Samsung TV offered excellent picture quality. I booked a windowless room, which was spotlessly clean. While such rooms often tend to be damp, this hotel had absolutely no issues with humidity whatsoever. Secondly, the staff, both at the front desk and in the restaurant, were incredibly friendly and spoke excellent English. The restaurant even had Chinese-speaking staff. They were also very enthusiastic and helpful in resolving any issues. For instance, we arrived early, and luckily, there was an available room, so they allowed us to check in ahead of time. When we initially had trouble using the hot water faucet, they promptly arranged for a technician to assist. The rooftop bar offered excellent views, and the prices were quite reasonable. Breakfast was delicious, with a special menu offered daily. Most importantly, the location is superb. It's right by Hoan Kiem Lake, very close to the Old Quarter and its 36 Streets. Next door is a popular beef noodle spot, and just a short walk away are the iconic Uniqlo store housed in a colonial building and Hanoi Cathedral.

Excellent value for money. The hotel is centrally located downtown, making it convenient to get anywhere. The train station is just a two-minute walk away, accessible day and night. There are several museums and a Catholic church nearby. The Western restaurant on-site offers good lunch and dinner, and they even provide massage vouchers. We were offered two complimentary cocktails upon check-in. I booked two rooms. We stayed in a king-size room, and the bed was very comfortable. The buffet breakfast is decent; though the variety isn't extensive, it's enough to keep you full. The hotel offers complimentary umbrellas, and the service is absolutely fantastic.

I booked this hotel for my bday trip, and it was perfect. The room was comfortable, clean, and they also provided clothes iron in the room. I think if you would like to stay here with family it would be amazing. The staff are also very helpful, polite, and caring. And not forget to mention that they serve different dishes for breakfast, so you won’t get bored having breakfast every morning here. You also can enjoy the spa or massage on 2nd floor (Metis Spa), and get 20% discount if you’re staying at the hotel.
