Town's Inn

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this beautiful, historic inn! The owner Karan is so kind and welcoming, I truly felt at home here! Room was great! Bed/Linen/Pillows were all clean and comfy. A/C worked well and there was also a fan provided. Cannot beat the location! Beautiful views from the room and the front balcony and porch while being steps away from shopping and the Historic National Park. The Town's Inn back patio and courtyard that connects the inn's two buildings is stunning and quiet, plenty of seating provided to sit and read, work, or just listen to the natural spring there. Enjoyed myself so much I booked a return trip for next month as soon as I came home!

I half expected Frodo Baggins himself to be in the Inn! Felt like something out of The Hobbit! Very charming, quaint inn, for anyone who wants an experience of staying in such a place, this is fantastic. One of a kind. If you have to have all the features and usual layout of a modern chain hotel, then this is not for you. Great communication on check in and check out. Friendly staff. Great location!

I rode the Amtrak to the old Baltimore & Ohio station and walked up High Street to the Town's Inn, soaking up the historic ambiance that permeates Harpers Ferry, West Virginia along the way. At the Inn, I picked up my guest envelope and met my host, Karan. I was quickly familiarized with the laid-back charm that I was to enjoy over the next several days. I lodged in their Appalachian Room, located in the former home of the Towne family built in 1840. The updated rustic charm is comfortable and relaxing. However, be aware as there are stairs everywhere. These ancestors were hardy folks. Located next door is their other house, circa 1820. Here, you may prepare your own breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They provide foodstuffs, and they do the dishes. You just record what you use and pay when you check out. Questions? No problem. Karan and her staff are ready to help. I found my way around the cafe with Tonya's help before venturing out to explore the history of Harpers Ferry. I'm already looking forward to my next visit.

I visited this hotel in Feb 2025, and I strongly recommend it. The staff are super friendly and helpful! They have a small market inside the inn that has everything you may need! The rooms are very cozy and nice! The water is always warm and the bathrooms are very clean! The only thing I think can be improved is the mattress in the room I was staying in, which was sagging a little… Overall this place is great!

Staying at The Inn was an experience i will never forget! My best friend and I wanted a quick weekend getaway to explore and enjoy nature. Upon arrival we were pleasantly surprised by how quaint, adorable, comfy, and special our room was. It was in the perfect location to explore downtown and get to Maryland Heights Trailhead. I was anxious about Parking but Karan and her staff helped us feel comfortable and ensured we would be taken care of once we got there. The room was very clean, even as a dog friendly room. We could not have asked for a better experience and will be back! 10 out of 10 recommend!

I stayed as part of a section hike of the AT. The Towns Inn had reasonable prices, was clean and VERY helpful staff. As a hiker without access to our cars, the hotel staff graciously shuttled us to places we needed to go. The Inn is clean and very period focused...and the location is perfect as it is right across the street from a nice variety of restaurants. I would like to bring my wife and stay there again. Thomas
