The room looked very clean when I checked in and there was a very cute pup in the pool and bar area! Ventilation was also great and the room felt cool even though it was a very hot day outside.

We stayed here on the first Monday of September school holidays and the food was top notch. My partner and I both had the Hawaiian Parma - he added salad to his, I added mushroom gravy. Our son had the Kids nuggets and chips. At $20 each adult meal, it was the best I've had in a long time. The parma was juicy, the toppings fresh and the chips were crisp - not dripping in oil like lots of other hotel offerings are! Us adults each tried the local Harrietville brew, being Tasmanian I went for the full body mountain draught and my partner tried the lager. Both are worth the trip down the mountain for. The Drought is brewed with proper hop flowers by the taste of it whilst the Larger is lighter so I'm leaning towards compressed hop pellets. This is one place you are going to have to stop and have a meal at - or just drop in for a drink of the local. 9/10

Ordered a Parma and the dumplings. The Parma was over cooked and dry. The ham on it was thin circle shaped ham from a packet. Negligible salad and chips tasty but not fully cooked. The dumplings were nice but looked and tasted just like the Aldi ones. We had a pint of beer and a soft drink. Two meals and two drinks cost $80.

Expensive & under cooked meals🤮. Meals came out seperately. Not much of choice on menu. No pasta option. Snitzel soggy! No senior meal options. Wine& beer choice good with local wines. Give it a miss. Try Snowline Pub instead👍

We were all pleasantly surprised with the excellent Pub Lunch we had at the Harrietville Hotel. The local beer on tap was awesome " Harrietville Mountain Lager" Dont be afraid to drop in, you will not be disappointed. We rated it AAAAAAAAAAAA

What an amazing pub in one of the prettiest towns in Australia. Do yourself a favour and get to Harrietville, any time of year it's stunning. The hotel has budget accom and was biker friendly but could cater to any groups. Great food, drinks and service with a smile, even when it was super busy. Really well run pub with a sensational atmosphere. Room we stayed in was simple but inexpensive, so no complaints. 10/10

Went out HotRod weekend, very busy at lunch time, meals were filling but a little on the pricey side for what was on offer. Fairly limited menu. Staff were friendly Closed very early on the Saturday night so not a place to go if your in for a late night
