"The overall feeling of the hotel is good, the location is closer to the Newark Broad train station. A little further away from Path. Direct access to NY Pennsylvania Station (you can change to the subway to go to various places). The room size is as described. Breakfast is fine. Service attitude is also very good. "We loved how close it was to downtown and very close to Penn Station to take the train to NYC. It was clean and bright and their restaurant was very nice. The staff was not very friendly. We got locked out of our room because the battery was dead. They could not replace the batter so we had to back up all of our stuff and move rooms. We did not get so much as an apology from the staff about the inconvenience. When I talk to them about the room change I asked if they could make sure the fridge was plugged in since we would be out when the room was ready. The front desk guy just said ”you will have to ask housekeeping to do that” I had no access to housekeeping to ask them. The evening front desk staff was very nice."
