It may be one of the Haven Ports, but there's a lot more to Harwich than boats and water, as a stay at Premier Inn Hotel Harwich will tell you. We're great as a stopover if you're catching the ferry, but there's also plenty to do here even if you're not sailing away. Spend your morning wandering the picturesque streets of Harwich, stumbling across some delightful buildings that date back centuries. Or catch a train to Colchester, Britain's oldest town, to see the castle or visit the world-famous zoo. The Edwardian seaside town Felixstowe is nearby too. Then come back to the hotel for some tasty food at our Brewers Fayre restaurant and a lovely, comfy bed.

Restaurant closed at 21.00 Sunday as we arrived off the ferry from Holland: no food or drink available on site, we felt hungry and helpless. Cellar chiller was on all night outside our window so little sleep. Will be glad to use new Travelodge nearby next time instead.

Great location for the ferry. Friendly staff in the hotel & restaurant but, the room was very hot & stuffy. The fan they provided could have been replaced by a pair of stunned Butterflies. Also, whilst probably beyond their control, we awoken at about midnight by a large group of rowdy, non resident, foreigners making their protracted way past the hotel.

Room was sooo hot. No air con so a poor night's sleep was had by all. Positives were clean room and friendly staff. Wouldn't book again in hot weather.

I dont know what to say. Didnt expect a hotel will have no AC in England. 30 degree without AC, 3 of us stuff in a Sauna room for 3 nights. Its worse than staying in my own house. Window only allow to be open a litte bit. No fresh air and the strong sun shine right at our window. Really not present. Location and staffs oth are good but we will not use this hotel again in summer for sure.

My stay was very comfortable the bed is big and I slept well the room has a hairdryer which is a bonus. the room was clean and tidy with enough hanging space and the breakfast is well worth the extra cost

Location is great for Ferry . Plenty of carparking . Reasonably priced restaurant. But the hotel is on a noisy road and the bedrooms do not have air conditioning. Room fans provided but didn’t make much difference. Hard to sleep with windows open.

Stay here for business purpose a lot and i have been welcomed kindly by Amanda and Jade in Premier Inn and Reece in the adjoining Brewers Fayre Rooms are clean and comfortable but can be quite warm but a fan is provided bed and pillows comfortable Restaurant is jext door and staff are welcoming and helpful

Pillows were great and fresh absolutely no problem probably the best part of the trip. Problem was the restaurant the chef was very poor having to wait 1.5hrs and then having to cancel.
