Premier Inn Harwich

Pillows were great and fresh absolutely no problem probably the best part of the trip. Problem was the restaurant the chef was very poor having to wait 1.5hrs and then having to cancel.

Meal only, very happy with the service and quality of the food. The staff were very friendly and efficient and very helpful Yaz and simona and Nicol

Unfortunately I can't leave a good review. Very hot room. Not enough towels. Fan is not that good. Air conditioner's battery was removed so was impossible to use it. A shower gel bottle was empty!?!? The receptionist was alright. Getting to eat was a straggle. One person was taking orders and service drinks at the same time. A queue of 5 people took her 25 minutes to sort out, but she was quick but needed some help to get the queue sorted faster. We had to wait for 45 minutes for our food which were quite simple dishes. One waitress was serving food. She worked hard but again without any help. Someone appeared later on to give her a hand though. I'm sorry but I can't leave a positive review.

Excellent and friendly staff especially on reception. They could not have been any more helpful. They helped to ensure swift booking.

All good apart from the temperature in the bedroom. It did not drop below 28C all night and was extremely uncomfortable, even with the fan on and window open.

Very reasonably priced PI in the port of Harwich so convenient for our travel needs. Bar shut at 10pm on a Friday night, room was very warm without any air con. Leaving the window open meant that we could hear the traffic - at all times of the night as it’s so close to the port. That said given the price and convenience to the port I would probably use it again. But my expectations would be lowered.
