The Laindons

Simply splendid. Superbly comfortable. Wonderful hospitality. Delightful breakfasts . Excellent all-round stay.

What a wonderful find, The Laindons is a 5* gem in the heart of the old town of Hastings, close to the shops and cafes and a stone's throw from the beach and promenade. The East Cliff lift is a short walk away. Our room was lovely, sparklingly clean, beautifully decorated with a comfortable bed, armchairs to relax in, and basically absolutely everything you would need for a weekend stay. The attention to detail is second to none....lovely toiletries, robes, fluffy towels, sleep spray, full tea/coffee table, fresh milk, an honesty bar, and much much more. And breakfast was simply delicious and as fresh as could be with locally sourced ingredients, all served by the most lovely friendly people. There is a lounge for guests and a myriad of eclectic interesting decorative features to discover. Parking was easy, there's a car park just behind the house, and a permit is supplied covering the hours of 4pm-11am and the car park uses the Ringo app so you can top up the extra daytime hours without even being nearby. We just left the car where it was and used local buses to get around when we wanted to go further afield. Would recommend The Laindons to anyone, we loved it

Every attention to detail for the guests.Locally sourced products for breakfast and beautifully presented and very tasty indeed. Karen and Malcolm are warm, generous hosts. We spent two nights and felt like we had been away much longer.

The hosts - Karen & Malcolm were so hospitable & helpful. The Laindons Guest House is situated in an excellent location in Old Town, Hastings. The Red room was very comfortable, top quality bed linen and the facilities throughout the property are sublime with every attention to detail made. The selection & quality of the produce at breakfast was outstanding - locally sourced & we would thoroughly recommend the home mage Granola with berry compote - exceptional. Nothing is too much trouble for Malcolm who oversees the breakfast service. Would definitely recommend this establishment & we wouldn’t look to stay anywhere else in Old Town, Hastings when we return in future.

Delicious breakfast with a side of haircut Absolutely beautiful boutique b and b where everything has been designed, styled and thought through to perfection! Gorgeous room, enormous bed, delicious breakfast and I even came away with a new haircut as there is a salon on site!
