Tower House 1066

Nice area and only 20 mins walk to central Hastings (or 40 minutes if you go the nice way, which is what I did- straight down to the sea and the along the promenade). I had a garden roon, which was perfect for me. Felt like I had my own space, overlooking the garden and with a view over Hastings. It had a decking area outside which, with a bit of tlc, could be lovely. Quirky, yes- but when Travelodge are asking more than 2 times the money, a real bargain. Didn't really use any amenities, but was generally clean (although some new pillowcases might be nice). There was no parking at the premises, but finding on-street parking was no problem (no charge).

Very poor quality. Room was not as advertised on the Web. Carpet dirty, shower disgusting,kettle needed descaling very badly. I had a breakfast but didn't eat a lot as the sausage was reheated, grilled tomatoes were still hard and the fried egg was burnt around the edges,I had to ring for someone to serve me and another guest with breakfast. Will not be recommending tower house to anybody

This hotel is definitely worth a stay. The rooms were very clean with lovely comfy beds. I personally slept like a log. The breakfast was amazing and the staff were very friendly. I will definitely stay there again. I stayed with my wife and friends for three nights and nobody had any complaints.

Booked to stay last night , turned up with in the allocated time slot , no one answers door , no one answers phone , agent tryed ringing as well and no reply so waited outside in rain 30 mins then had to book else were , this hotel should not take bookings they can’t honour ! Avoid

This hotel is run by a lovely couple/family who have been established here for 8 years. Made me very welcome from the outset and shared a pint or two at the local pub with the proprietor at the Tower pub thankfully only 100 foot away!!! They do cream teas that are open to the public as well and the Carrott cake is to die for.... After first sampling the Victoria sponge and lemon drizzle as well. Breakfast was amazing and with good ingredients sourced. Room was lovely with lovely maintained gardens.... There was a bonfire in the garden as it was autumn which I so desperately wanted to light and re kindle nostalgic childhood memories.... Of bonfire night. Thanks goes to my accommodating friendly hosts and I would without question definitely stay here again if in this area. A rare gem in a commercially driven world.

4 poster bed!! has the hooks & runner at the top ready for curtains!! Bed whilst comfy, the bedding needs replacing. Pillows need replacing (couldn't use greasy feel & lumpy) Furry throw, not necessary, felt like it needed a visit to the dry cleaners. Breakfast lovely. Great dinner at the Thai restaurant at the bottom of the road.
