Excellent stay Just what we needed for our trip to Pembrokeshire, complimentary breakfast was a lovely surprise and room had everything we needed

Comfortable but lack of service Room comfortable, breakfasts were good, microwave available. The room was not serviced, no empty rubbish, no towels replaced, no replenish coffee or milk, no replenishment of shower gel or shampoo. It was not alway easy to find somewhere to park.

Did the job. Host was friendly & gave good advice re parking, & actually went out of his way for us at breakfast time when my daughter was too tired to get up after our long journey. However the property is dated & in need of some ‘TLC’, some of which would be simple & inexpensive but cosmetically make a difference. (new bed linen, fixing wobbly door handles, mugs that match) Fully appreciate that the building itself is not a new build & therefore has its own charm of uniqueness & character. Would I stay here again…. yes, It has a good location, off site parking couldn’t be closer (or cheaper), it was clean enough. If you want a generic ‘well known branded’ hotel room, or a swanky boutique hotel this isn’t for you.

This is a lovely old building which has clearly seen better days and is now in need of a serious upgrade. All the decor and furnishings are tired, and you get the impression the owner has lost the will to make any changes. He confirmed to us verbally that they no longer provide breakfast on the grounds of expense, and advised us to go over the road to the leisure centre for this. Although the leisure centre has a cafe, they don't serve breakfast, and we ended up walking half a mile up the road to a very large Tesco (which incidentally does a very good breakfast in its cafe). I'm glad we were only staying one night.......
