Best Western London Heathrow Ariel Hotel

It’s a one of the cheaper hotels around so you get what you pay for. I stayed in a double room when I arrived in London and a single room before I left. If you’re travelling solo I highly recommend the single room! It’s much more spacious/nice and the bed is a king single so plenty of room. This double room I stayed in wasn’t great. Something fell out of the tap when I turned it on (possibly built up limescale?), so I was reluctant to drink the water. I went downstairs and there was a manager there that overheard me saying it and gave me 2 big bottles of water which was great. I was keen to order room service after a super long flight, and that feature was part of the reason I booked this hotel, but the phone in the room didn’t work. So I had to eat downstairs at the restaurant (which is quite expensive). There was also no lock on the door (the chain was broken). All in all not the best stay. But like I said, I had a great stay in the single room!

Enjoyed overnight stay, very convenient for the airport access. Room was adequate for over night purpose, facilities great. Staff very helpful and welcoming.

Clean, quiet (given proximity to airport), slightly dated but charming in a way. All things considered it was great for breaking up a long trip and good value for London.

I was glad with the kindness of the staff, the overall cleanness and proximity to heathrow airport. But i was disappointed by the lack of fridge safe in the room and no suitable wall plug for the hairdryer in the bathroom. I had to use it next to the bed. Other than that it was a very decent experience for what i had paid.
