We stayed in the king bungalow room with a full kitchen and spacious living room area, complete with a reclining couch and chair. The bedroom was a good size, and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was pretty standard. Everything, for the most part, seemed new or nearly new.
Close to everything but not in the middle of it. FYI: The driveway up to the motel is pretty steep, which makes walking up it after a night at the beer halls or bars a little challenging. We would stay again.

The rental was spacious, very clean and updated. We enjoyed the fireplace on the cool nights. It was so nice to be able to walk everywhere or to sit on the comfortable chairs and look at the mountain view. The staff were very nice and helpful when we needed anything.

We had a reservation in October 2024. I was concerned about them being able to still rent rooms. I cancelled within their cancellation schedule. I should not have been charged anything. The day after cancelling I was charged for 1 night. I contacted the hotel with no response. The day we were supposed to check in they charged the full amount to my credit card. They tried to give me check in info. I told them we had cancelled. I was told they would check. I disputed both charges with my credit card. I had emails and phone records re cancellation. I did receive my money back from the dispute. I’m really glad we chose a different hotel. I felt like they were disorganized and dishonest. Thank goodness I keep records of everything. I would definitely be careful of my credit card info if booking with Heidi Motel.

THEY NEVER CLEAN THE ROOMS IN BETWEEN GUESTS and charge you a cleaning fee!! Kitchen was probably cleaned one month ago and bathroom: MAN'S HAIR IN THE SHOWER DRAIN!!! It's awful and so disappointing. Lack of respect and consideration to guests. I could smell the previous guest as soon as I opened the door. I understand it's not a 4 stars hotel, but the minimum you expect is CLEANING! I'll never go back or recommend this place to anyone.

Usually most hotels offer a travel size shampoo,conditioner, and soap. Wasn’t a big deal for us because I always bring this when we stay somewhere. No extra, towels, or pillows. Not a deal breaker for us but just am fyi. Walking distance to downtown Helen. Would atay again
