Rack Shack Rustic Cabin Retreat

There might be several reasons to stay at the Rack Shack. Ours was the location, not far from Fallingwater which we visited the following morning. Also, the modest price for an entire cabin was appreciated. Visiting from northern Maine we were right at home with the antlers and taxidermy. And if you look past the furry decor you'll see that the building is far from a shack....it's finished nicely, all buttoned up, clean and comfy. Quite secluded, with nice a outdoor area, along a dirt road. We opted to bring items to make supper in the well equipped kitchen. Check in and out was a breeze. Walter was quick when replying with us.

Watch out for the GPS It’s a nice place to stay. The GPS directions are bad. The had us turning left out of Ohiopyle and took us on a goat path. We couldn’t get though so we turned around and went on US 40. It was very quiet and clean.

Great little hideaway We stayed because it is a great location to go white water rafting. The place was great and had a bunch of amenities. I forgot something at the house and the owner was great and responsive about getting it back. One small thing the road turns to a gravel road before the house so be ready.
