Good pub grub. No frills but good home cooked food. We both had steak and ale pie which was delicious. The prices are reasonable. The service was efficient and friendly. Busy on a Saturday evening. We walked from the Camping & Caravaning Club site.

Came across the pub after being let down by one of the other local hostelries. So pleased that happened as we had a great night in the place. The staff are busy but always cheery and the food is excellent. The place is small, cosy but excellently run. Will definitely book again. Thank you

Stayed for 1 night. Good value for money. No dedicated parking but we managed to get a space nearby. We had a lovely Sunday lunch in the accommodations bar. Nice pleasant stay. All staff really friendly and helpful.

Great pub with great selection of ale and pub food. Food was promptly delivered and was of good quality and plentiful for the price charged. It was busy on a Monday night showing it’s a pub for locals as well as visitors. Good value for money and friendly staff

Very friendly welcome from Kayleigh who was very kind and helpful. She served an excellent breakfast too.
The only negative was the towels and bedding. They felt below standard due to age.
