Serene tranquility, your peaceful retreat in Sri Lanka. This property is up there as one of the best i have visited to date, it offers that something special, a personalized experience. Firstly, a thank you to the entire team who made the stay what it was, this goes from the butler's to the spa team and all the way to the General Manager. Excellent and without them this place would not be what it is. Arrival, late evening, amazing check-in process, so smooth. The rooms, basically a little studio, with an outdoor terrace and plunge pool. Well designed, well thought of in the design. The room has all the amenities one would need for this type of retreat, double sink, shelf space, bedside table and lamps, full glass windows and sliding door. Finally a rain shower that also leads out to the small garden area. Bed (Mattress) and pillows not my style or preference, but of a good quality. Main pool area, restaurant and chill out area, well designed, so relaxing and having a personalized butler service just makes the experience so much better. Talking of which, breakfast has no set time here, it is when you wish to have it and all prepared by your butler (and the team obviously). This has been thought out, and is the perfect decision - well done..... Spa, tranquil, and all the staff are professional and provide excellent consultation and massages. Stayed for 3-Nights and had a massage every day, was perfect. We will be back in the year to do a wellness program with this property, three days was not enough, this property needs at least 7-Days. This property does offer colonial style villas (2 to be exact) however they were under renovation during our stay, Shame, because they are really nice. Comments....Night one, loud noises (music) from the village near by until 0100-Hours... Other than that, excellent and will be back...

My wife and I experienced a 12-day ayurvedic treatment in this most beautiful resort. Embedded in pure nature and wildlife we enjoyed highly valued privacy and an excellent and warmhearted services by the entire staff. We have been indulged by our private butler Kinsley through his extraordinary professional and pleasant "partnership" during our stay. For the ayurvedic treatment we were in the best hands of Dr. Nipuni and Dr. Nayanananda as well as our therapists Mauira and Jeewanti. Be it the various massages, the yoga classes or the diet cooking, the treatments were outstanding and the effect on our well-being remarkable and sustainable. Thank you very much for this unforgettable experience!

Where to start in reviewing our wonderful stay at Haritha Villas & Spa? Having traveled quite a bit over the years, both with and without children, it is safe to say Haritha just may be the best experience we have had with a hotel up to this point. We cannot recommend a stay here enough. The food was delicious, the staff, exceptional, and the rooms were extremely comfortable, clean, and well designed. We had the good fortune to stay in each of the colonial mansions at both ends of our first trip to Sri Lanka. No doubt, the key to our incredible experience at Haritha was having Mr. Nilanka as our personal butler for both of our stays. It is fair to say that Nilanka's care, thoughtfulness, and attention to detail made our stay an extraordinary experience. His incredible ability to anticipate our needs was such a gift, especially whilst traveling with children. The floating breakfasts he created during our stays along with the gifts he spoiled our children with in addition to the perfect staging for a 50th birthday surprise dinner for my husband; being in Nilanka's charge felt like being cared for by a loving family member and saying, "goodbye" at the end of our trip felt like leaving a piece of our heart as we departed. If you ever have the lucky chance to visit Sri Lanka please do yourself a favour and book at least a night or two at Haritha (if not more.) You will not regret it!
