Crystal Sands Hikkaduwa

Crystal Hikkaduwa was the highlight of our stay in terms of service. Deepa was always welcoming with a warm smile, and the restaurant staff were equally hospitable. Everything was truly great.

Beautiful Apartment hotel, next to beach with stunning views Staff attentive and always happy to accommodate you. Accommodation is pristine clean, and cleaned daily to a high standard. tea coffee making facilities are always available and bonus washing machine in kitchen was helpful. Breakfast had a good choice of food. ate at the restaurant in the evening a couple of times and again also good

We booked a two-night stay at this absolutely stunning hotel. After having checked-in to our suites, and enjoyed a beautiful time with kids at the infinity pool, getting ready for dinner- sadly, one of my children became quite unwell requiring urgent medical attention. We therefore decided to get back to our base in Colombo (where we had friends) on the same night. So we only got to enjoy the facilities, and the hotel for a few hours. The staff were incredibly understanding, and gave us a refund for one night despite not being obliged to. I also left some of my things in the suite given we were in a rush, and they not only recovered the items but also communicated with me via WhatsApp until such time I received my things. Special mention to: Ms. Deepani, Kaveen, and Yasiru. Luxury hotel, amazing staff, top-class suites with plunge pools, and overall a very lovely, and cosy setting! Stunning views from the suites, and the infinity pool! We will definitely be visiting this hotel again to take advantage of everything it has to offer if we were to ever go back to Sri Lanka. Notes: The hotel is not a large resort, so you will not find the front reception to be as grand as some of the more bigger names, but be rest assured that your experience fully starts at the room, and all the other facilities the hotel has to offer. P.S. The cold towels, and cinnamon drink offered at the reception was lovely, and refreshing.

Hasranga nimnejith and shalika was friendly while helping in room cleaning. Location is very good. Private pool and infinity pool at 10th floor, with good view.

We had a truly unforgettable experience at Crystal Sands while celebrating my wife’s birthday. We initially stayed in the Sands Suite, which was beautiful, and later upgraded to the Presidential Suite — an absolutely stunning choice that made our stay even more special. The hospitality and service throughout our visit were exceptional. I want to extend a special thank you to the wonderful staff who made our stay so comfortable and memorable: Dilki, Yasiru, Arush, Mr. Lakmal Jayasena, and especially Mr. Shammi, whose support and attention to detail stood out. Highly recommend Crystal Sands for anyone looking for a luxurious and warm getaway. We’ll definitely be back!
