Hilton Beachfront Resort & Spa Hilton Head Island

I booked this hotel at short notice and check the reviews after. I was apprehensive but many of them were not fair. The parking lot is a short walk. There were no hassles with the towels. You were given a card but there were no threats of fines for missing towels like other hotels. I believe every room has a balcony. The balcony made my vacation with its beautiful view. My room was renovated and in fine condition. The hotel has 3 pools (people swam in the indoor pool when it rained). I never used the pools. I love the beach. The water was 85 degrees. We stayed in the ocean, one hour at a time. We walked several miles on the beach each morning and evening (hard sand to walk on). We reserved chairs and umbrellas for us the entire day (no one else could use it). Also when we didnt rent an Umbrella, they have a large area by the pool shaded by trees. It was too hot for the sun. Breakfast Buffet was good. Everyone in the hotel was nice. There is a refrigerator in the room. We went to Krogers (shopping centers nearby). We bought water, Beer, snacks for the room. Definitely go to Harbor town. Many restaurants and stores around the lighthouse. Going to the top of the lighthouse was fun. We want to go back again, next time we will bring the kids.

Thomas from valet was so nice and helpful. He had a very friendly disposition and very pleasant to talk with. The front desk was not as helpful and after numerous request for our sink to be unstopped it was never done. Housekeeping was good!!!!!

This was hands down one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The spa was already a huge disappointment, but what really ruined the entire stay was the front desk. They overpromise and underdeliver at every turn no accountability, no communication, and when things go wrong, they don’t fix anything. Instead, they avoid you and act like it’s not their problem. Harprett, who claims to be the manager, was shockingly rude and unprofessional. She has no business working in guest services. Rather than resolving issues, she dismisses concerns and treats guests with an attitude that makes you feel like an inconvenience. Instead of transferring me or allowing me to speak with someone else who could help, she roadblocks the process and deliberately keeps me waiting on hold purposefully wasting my time rather than addressing the problem. As a military member, I was beyond disappointed. I came into town for my son’s graduation party with friends and family, and we had planned to enjoy the pool and other amenities as part of the celebration. Because of the repeated mistakes and failures at the front desk, I never even had the opportunity to do that. They completely ruined what should have been a special weekend. To make matters worse, I’ve been waiting over a week for a call back. I’ve called every single day and still received no response just excuses. That says everything about how little they value their guests once they’ve taken your money. For a resort that advertises luxury, the service is anything but. If you value honesty, professionalism, or even basic courtesy, I strongly recommend staying somewhere else.

I’ve been loyal to Hilton for years this property was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had The room had mold, the whole hotel did bad plumbing The pool, wasdisgusting – cloudy water and debris everywhere. Definitely not something I expected from a Hilton. The only positive from my stay was Ravi, the bartender.

We had a lovely time here but the biggest takeaway was the staff. We met Vijay and jack at the front desk first both very accommodating and kind, then headed to the Blue Lounge for a drink. There we met three gentleman that absolutely made our trip. Bartender Igor made a perfect cosmo, Balsa was the kindest server, and Dan the manager not only introduced himself but was so welcoming and informative about the area. we even got to meet one of our cooks wajid! Poolside you have to meet Sally and Merisha for drinks then walk on to the prettiest, not overcrowded, beach access. it was a perfect little trip and i cannot wait to return.
