Amazing
TTatsuyaFrom the moment I stepped into this strategically located hotel, I knew my stay would be something special. Nestled near the bustling city center, this accommodation strikes the perfect balance between urban accessibility and peaceful retreat. The prime location is undoubtedly one of this hotel's strongest assets. With the vibrant downtown area just steps away, you'll find yourself immersed in the city's energy without sacrificing convenience. The cherry on top? A convenience store right on the first floor, making those late-night snack runs or forgotten essentials a breeze. Inside, the property showcases meticulous attention to cleanliness throughout. What particularly impressed me was the thoughtful bathroom layout – separate toilet and bathing areas, a feature that elevates the entire experience and provides that extra touch of comfort that seasoned travelers will appreciate. My night's sleep was nothing short of blissful – comfortable bedding and a peaceful atmosphere ensured I awoke refreshed and ready for the day ahead. If I were to suggest one improvement, it would be the amenity distribution system. Currently, essentials like toothbrushes must be collected from a distribution area near the second-floor lobby, rather than being pre-placed in the room. This minor inconvenience is the only thing preventing an absolutely perfect score. Despite this small hiccup, my overall stay was exceptional. For travelers seeking convenience, cleanliness, and comfort in the heart of the city, this hotel delivers on all fronts. I departed well-rested and thoroughly satisfied – and isn't that exactly what we're all looking for?

Amazing
GGuest UserOverall its a good hotel with very good service. Location next to hiroshima station which was very convenient. However, disappointed with buffet dinner. Although hotel guest were offered 25% off. Mainly because of quality and most food offered were cold. For example, the grilled beef was not a slice as in the picture. It came in a small bowl with 2 tiny finger size beef which was cold. You know what happens when you put cold fat beef in your mouth! The buffet breakfast was unsatisfactory either. Sam kind of salad as dinner. For me i am a very simple person. Let me have my bacon and eggs, toast and coffee, i would be very satisfied. Unfortunately, it was not so! The eggs were fried in a bowl (cold as usual ) and there was something between ham and bacon but not everyday. Again most of the food were cold! Imagine a cold winter day of 1 degree celcius outside. And having to eat food that were not even warm! I would very much like to stay there again but would not eat there. Finally, i provided my credit card for check in so that any charges incurred could be deducted. But do not understand why they wanted me to pay for the buffet dinner first? Even though i had given them my room number? I obviously have no problem paying for anything!

GGuest UserThis hotel was a nice surprise, I arrived into Hiroshima main station and the hotel is attached to the station so walked out of the station turned left and only had 100 steps to walk (covered walkway with escalator) and it took less than 3 minutes, the check in staff were great and speak english, the room was large and well equipped and 100% clean and modern, its in a good location , take a number 5 tram to Hiroshima Bay and the ferry docks are end of that line, you can visit one of the many islands and its calm takes around 25 minutes and low cost , nice day out, 5 minutes taxi ride from hotel is the city restaurant area , everything about the hotel was first class. I will use it again i hope you use it to and enjoy the experience, Thanks to all the staff and managers etc for making it feel like home from home ,

GGuest UserWe had an excellent experience. The location is fantastic—just a five-minute walk to both the bullet train station and the tram station. The room was quite spacious, especially compared to Tokyo standards. We had two suitcases, a stroller, and a carry-on bag, and everything fit comfortably in the room. The hotel also offered a complimentary breakfast with items like muffins, croissants, buns, juice, and coffee, and we thoroughly enjoyed everything they served. We would definitely recommend staying at Nest Hotel Hiroshima Ekimae!

GGuest UserI really liked staying here and will definitely stay again if I’m in Hiroshima!! The dorms are right next door to the check-in area and have a separate entrance. Staff was great. It felt very safe as there is a code to access the room. Bathroom areas were clean, slippers are provided, and the beds are very spacious. It was unclear to me if there were lockers- I didn’t ask because I wasn’t worried about it and there was an area in the room where we all just piled our luggage. There’s a convenience store right across the street, and it’s like a 3 minute walk to the train/bus station- really convenient!! I loved Hiroshima and definitely recommend you take the ferry to Miyajima as well.

AAnonymous UserI recently stayed at Capsule Hotel Cube Hiroshima for a few nights—this was my second visit. Overall, it’s a great place, but a few small issues have started to surface. Positives: The staff are wonderful—friendly and attentive. You receive fresh towels, pajamas, and cleaning amenities daily. Good location, making it convenient for exploring Hiroshima. Areas for Improvement: Limited showers: Only three per floor, shared by many guests. At peak times, you might wait over an hour, and by then, the showers can be a bit dirty (e.g., hair left behind). Laundry bottleneck: Each floor has just one washer and dryer. The dryer is especially slow—it took four 30-minute cycles just to dry six t-shirts. Vending machines lack variety: No cola or Pepsi—just beer and water. Not a major issue, but worth noting. Fridge access is inconvenient: The communal fridge is behind reception, meaning you must hand over items to staff. A small fridge on each floor would be much more practical. Worn-out mattresses: The memory foam mattresses have sunk in from overuse. They haven’t been flipped or replaced, which leads to uncomfortable sleep and back/hip pain. Final Thoughts: Despite these downsides, I would stay here again. However, guests should be prepared for some minor inconveniences. If the hotel made a few simple upgrades—like replacing mattresses, improving laundry facilities, and adding accessible fridges—it could easily be one of the best capsule hotels in Hiroshima.

RRebeccaConveniently located for the Peace Memorial museum and gardens. Nice hotel, clean and has a laundry which was useful. Nice touch giving coins to spend on treats - the children had fun spending these. Breakfast was nice but as with all hotels quite expensive, plenty of local options for the more budget conscious. The streetcar is handy to get to/from the train station and other points of interest.

GGuest UserI stayed for two nights. The room was cleaned nicely, and I was very comfortable. I don't like strong scents, so I was glad that the sheets, towels, and pajamas were unscented. On the other hand, the air freshener with motion sensor in the elevator was a bit strong... It was a 30-minute walk from Hiroshima Station to the hotel, and the bus stop was nearby, so I took the bus to the station on the way back. It was about a 20-minute walk to the Atomic Bomb Dome, so if the weather is good, I think it's a great location for sightseeing on foot.

GGuest UserThis was my second time staying at the hotel, and it was very clean. The location is a little far from the downtown area, about 20-30 minutes walk away, but the area around the hotel was quiet and nice. Check-in and check-out were done by machine. There was a water dispenser in the lobby on the first floor, so I used it (they didn't have tea or coffee, etc.).
