Tam Coc Central Bungalow - Hostel

Очень многолюдно, хостел был полный. В целом все устраивает, завтрак очень хороший (мяса нет, но есть сосиски) в формате шведского стола. Аренда мотобайка 100к, велосипед 50к. Рекомендую, бассейн до 22.00. Ребята на ресепшене работают отлично!

This hostel is in a great location, just a five minute walk from town so not too busy and surrounded by beautiful scenery. The rooms were overall nice, we opted for a private room. The only downside was a smell of sewage from the drains and a very poor shower that only trickled out from the secondary hose. The staff were pretty miserable and not especially pleasant. They seemed pretty dismissive and uninterested if you didn’t want to book a tour with them. I think in part their demeanour was one of the reasons this hostel didn’t have as good an atmosphere as the likes of Banana Tree. The bar was pretty drab and nobody really hung out there in the evenings. We rented some pedal cycles from them and they were really cheap but very poor quality. Might be worth checking out one of the many rental places in town.

Der Bungalow war insgesamt okay. Leider hat erstens nach Schimmel gerochen und es war recht hellhörig. Die Angestellten haben oartymusik laufen lassen obwohl die Gäste eher gemütlich um ein Feuer saßen. Die Decken und Kissen sind sehr bequem, große Betten und insgesamt sauber.

This Hostel is average in a good way. It was scenic and comfy. It was quiet with not many people around. We stayed in a 12 bed mixed dorm for two nights and then a single private room for the last night. The bathroom was not too nice in the dorm room and we were reluctant to shower but a lot better and nicer in the private room. Both bathrooms were clean and tidy. The Central Bungalow staff and family lived in the common area and felt like they were dominating the space as sometimes they would sleep on the furniture, however this was not to bad but it was an observer my group and another group indipendantly commented on. The bar looked closed and when my friend asked for a meal from the restaurant the chef was reluctant to cook it for her. Upon arriving to Tam Coc, we were deciding between Central Bungalow and the Banana hostel. We should've chosen the Banana hostel as there were many more people creating a better atmosphere in the common areas. It was closer to the main shops/food too. On the last night our group of three actually went to the Banana hostel for a cocktail and dinner and it was great. We wished we stayed here. There is nothing wrong with the Central Bungalow, it was cheap, scenic and the staff were nice and acomodating. I will give it 4/5 stars. My group just wished for more of an atmosphere so next time we will stay at Banana. FYI we visited late December 2023.

Friendly and helpful staff gave a thorough explanation of services and tour options in the area which they were able to book for us, along with shuttles and water bottles. The accommodations were pleasant. The complimentary breakfast was nice and the swimming pool was great for socializing with other guests while the staff played music. They keep a good stock of drinks in the fridge and snack foods on the counter during the day and evening. The location is conveniently within a short walking distance of the city while still feeling removed. The evening that we left we were able to book our train tickets and a shuttle through the front desk and they provided us a bag of snack food and water for the train ride. I would definitely stay here again. A great option in this area

This hostel was very nice. Great price and feels very luxury with a nice pool and stuff. They had towels and bed sheets. Also breakfast was included in the good prise. I would definitely recommend this place to backpackers!
