Milima Big 5 Safari Lodge

We spent 4 nights at Milima and every day was a new high. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and well maintained. Even in the middle of “winter”, it was comfortable in the rooms. The staff was friendly, professional, and went out of their way to make the stay as enjoyable as possible. The meals were tasty and enjoyable. It was nice eating outside in the tent or around the Braai. Spending afternoons watching the dynamics of the elephant families at the watering whole was fascinating. Nothing was better than sitting by the pool watching a variety of animals wander by the watering hole, except the actual Safari rides. Our guide, Thomas, was incredible. With over 20 years of experience as a guide, if there was an animal out there he would find it. In fact, the downside to the experience is that we became convinced that Thomas was planting the animals. We would let him know what we wanted to see and soon afterwards they would appear. We highly recommend this experience. Go team Thomas!!!

Experiência incrível no Milima. Bebida e comida liberada, vario animais vinham perto da piscina beber agua. Todo staf do Milima é muito simpático. 2 safaris por dia é realmente um sonho para quem sempre quis ter essa experiência. Comida muito saborasa e quartos aconchegantes. Tudo sensacional!

Espetacular!!! Atendimento diferenciado aos hóspedes. Comida e bebida d excelente qualidade. Todos os funcionários ótimos mas um destaque especial à Lizbeth e ao guia Sidney! Recomendo demais para quem for ao MILIMA tentar fazer os game drives com o Sidney!!!

We really enjoyed Milima. We stayed in one of the Safari tents which are very comfortable with huge bathrooms. The beds are great and the electric blankets very welcomed. A bar fridge with plenty of water and a tea and coffee station. The tents are right on the fence line and we were lucky enough to spot quite a few species of game, specifically elephants walking straight past our tent. Meals at Milima are a treat, everything was really great. Boma dinners are fabulous. The Restaurant staff and the 3 chefs are just fantastic. Game drives were a bit disappointing, in that our guide was not very verbal and quite often said a nothing for a good 40 min. Engagement with ones guests is very important especially when you don't see anything for a good while. Disney names for animals is a NO NO. But we had a great time overall and would certainly recommend Milima. Great value for money. We LOVED the water hole in front of the pool, that gets 5 stars*****

Just returning from 4 days at this lodge. Everything here exceeded our expectations. The staff are very friendly and accommodating, the property is amazing, food is five stars. Being vegetarian, our food choices were well planned for and accommodated. The safaris were awesome and our guide Sidney went above and beyond to make sure we got a close view of all the animals. The muffins served during the safari were one of the best I have tasted. Everyone is professional and friendly and I am super glad we chose this place. Five stars from our family.

Tivemos uma experiência incrível no MILIMA Big 5 Safari Lodge. Os quartos são confortáveis, bem decorados e oferecem um ótimo nível de privacidade, com comodidades como piscina e áreas comuns muito bem cuidadas. A gastronomia foi um destaque, com refeições deliciosas e variadas servidas em ambientes agradáveis. Os safáris foram espetaculares, conduzidos por guias experientes e atenciosos, que proporcionaram encontros inesquecíveis com os Big 5 e outros animais, uma atração a parte era o lago em frente ao Lodge onde diversos animais vinham se banhar e beber água. O serviço como um todo foi impecável, com equipe sempre cordial e prestativa. Uma estadia que une conforto, natureza e excelência — altamente recomendada! Se tiver que reclamar de alguma coisa seria o Wi-Fi, que não funcionou na área do nosso chalé.
