Wij vonden het teleurstellend. Onze watertank was stuk toen we arriveerden en werd niet vervangen. Stopcontact was ook kapot waardoor we onze koelkast moesten uitrekken om het koffie apparaat aan te zetten. Maar koffie konden we niet zetten want er was geen water...de kamer liep wat onder door de regen maar niemand die ons kwam vragen of alles inorde was. We moesten onze handdoeken gebruiken om te dweilen en werden niet vervangen.Meestal was er ook niemand. Ontbijt was waarschijnlijk goed in hun restaurant maar in het hotel ondermaats. Allemaal uit dezelfde margarine pot vonden wij toch een beetje speciaal. WiFi was ook heel slecht. De ligging was wel top!! En de eigenaar vriendelijk.

Appart-Hotel très bien situé par rapport à la plage. Un peu vieillot, mérite une rénovation. Mais la mauvaise expérience est que de l'argent liquide nous y a été volé. Le coffre est à clé et non à code. Malgré l'intervention de la police et les dépositions faites, nous n'avons, bien entendu, rien pu prouver. Nous restons donc sur une mauvaise impression de malhonnêteté du personnel.

El hotel superó ampliamente nuestras expectativas. Es hermoso, tranquilo, lleno de plantas y rústico. A una cuadra del mar. El desayuno es muy rico, tiene café con leche vegetal, jugo de frutas, pancakes, fruta, huevos revueltos, cereales, granola, yogur, pan. Las cenas también son deliciosas; por lo general son tres platos distintos a elección + ensaladas. Están sazonados al estilo mexicano y la cantidad está muy bien. Igualmente tenemos entendido que las próximas reservas serán sin cena. Todo está muy bien organizado por Víctor y Óscar. Tienen un trato súper amable con todos los huéspedes y son muy serviciales, tanto para dudas/consultas en relación al hotel como en tours o cosas para hacer en la isla. Nos fuimos muy contentas. Volveríamos al hotel porque la estancia fue maravillosa. Lo recomiendo ampliamente, no se van a arrepentir si deciden ir.

Super buena ubicacion, el hotel supero mis expectativas, las camas super comodas, tienen una alberca pequeña y limpia, ofrecen desayuno y cena vegana, simplemente deliciosa. Esta a unos pasos de la playa, que en Holbox es preciosa, el personal muy amable, y un ambiente tranquilo y relajado.

Beautiful, quiet, clean, cozy place with friendly staff. Looks better live than in the photos:) Our room was spacious and comfortable. Nice shower with hot water. Excellent location, almost at the beach and walking distance to everywhere. Worth your money! Would highly recommend to stay here if you visit Holbox!

We stayed here for 3 nights--2 rooms for my wife and I and our boys. It is quiet, relaxed, and close to the beach. Far enough from downtown to be quiet but close enough to walk to everything you need. The breakfast and dinner provided was tasty and healthy. The plunge pool was refreshing to cool off after a hot day. Nothing fancy, but a good base to explore the island.

Excellent experience!!! First of all the staff are amazing, especially Victor, thank you for your kind hosting and care during our stay, the kids loved you! Really cute, intimate, well maintained, beautiful environment with gorgeous plants growing all around the property. The pool was clean and kids had a blast while my wife and I chilled in the hammocks. The food was incredible, again Victor thanks for your amazing cooking as well. We are not vegan or vegetarian and we never felt like we were craving anything else as food was so good. Even the kids really enjoyed the food. Location is set back about a block from really nice area of the beach which is only a minute or two walking so no issues at all. Close to everything so could walk everywhere. Rooms are good size, very cute, have everything you need including small kitchenette area with coffee maker, and are kept clean. Staff and owners very kind and attentive to all of our needs. Stayed at another hotel last year on Holbox and this was a way better experience, it felt like home. Other hotel guests were very kind, respectful, and we made some great new friends. Thanks to Arte Sano for a great experience! We can’t say enough about this place! A+++++++++

« Si j’avais voulu être riche, j’aurai lancé mon business à Cancun ! Les gens me demandent pourquoi je pratique des tarifs aussi bas alors que je suis à 50 mètres d’une des plus belles plages du monde ? Je leur reponds que la plage et la mer ne m’appartiennent pas. Pourquoi j’offre le petit déjeuner et le repas du soir ? Parce que je considère que les fruits, les lentilles et les légumes que je leur propose ne valent pas le prix du boeuf bien qu’ils soient excellents pour leur santé ». Et je pourrai vous parler des heures de la philosophie de Francisco, qui à elle seule vaut le détour tant elle est inspirante et en phase totale avec le côté Bohême et hippie de l’Île d’Holbox. Si un jour la vie vous amène ici, logez sans hésiter à l’Arte Sano Vegan Hotel. Qui n‘a d’« hôtel » que le nom et sa présence sur Booking où je l’ai déniché. Merci aussi à Oliver pour sa gentillesse. Ps: vous devez également tester leur restaurant situé en ville. Des plats somptueux à prix tout doux.

Amazing place! So happy we chose to stay here. Sure there are beachfront hotels, but this place is warm and friendly. Feels like staying with family. If you want to experience the beachfront hotels, grab a day pass and you have the best of both worlds. There are only 6 rooms so it is a very personal experience. Our room was great- super roomy and great balcony overlooking the pool. The pool is perfect for a dip after being at the beach and in the sun. The best thing here is the staff. They made us feel so welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Our son especially loved them. Food was great and is a real advantage. Food on Holbox is expensive and to have breakfast and dinners covered is awesome. We’re not even vegan or vegetarian! Thank you for your care of our family. We are so happy to recommend you to anyone looking for a family friendly and unique place to stay.
