It’s okay to stay for a night to catch early ferry to Dublin. Location is around 15 minutes walk from railway terminal. Staff are friendly and helpful and arrange a taxi for us to go to the station early in the morning.

It was much closer than I expected to the station and harbour than I expected. I went for paddle steamer trip to Liverpool. Their breakfast was just what I wanted. The bedroom and shower room were perfect.

Hotel located opposite side of road from port so ideal if using that. No restaurant on site and only breakfast box available next morning. Small town so limited places to eat , mostly just takeaways especially on a Sunday night so if looking for a good meal eat before you get there. If just using it for a bed before catching a ferry then ideal

As expected, but don’t order breakfast unless you’re a big fan of cornflakes and water. I would loved a cup of coffee.

Costly, considering drip in bathroom, very hazardous, danger of slipping in first room, in second bathroom no hand soap, no shower gel and towels were coarse and old. Previous visits were cheaper , more comfortable and friendly.

Clean , quiet, handy for town and church. Wild pubs..... sedate pubs ..... great bakery down street over the bridge as is cheap supermarket ......down the road to the marina and maritime museum . Cleaning ladies a right laugh and they have these frisbee/robots hoover things . I want one.

I guessed the hotel would be basic but hopefully by paying £85 it wouldn’t be too bad. Bed was uncomfortable, no hair dryer and no shower curtain! We checked in late and checked out early so the reception wasn’t manned.

I was travelling on business to Dublin via a Ferry from Holyhead and this location was ideally located close to the terminal for my next day early start.

We stayed in Holyhead on the 9th May in order to catch the early ferry crossing to Dublin the following morning. We had rooms booked in the Travelodge. I cannot fault the rooms or the reception staff, parking or convenience of the location for the ferry port - less than 5 minutes drive. Holyhead itself, however, is a truly awful, rundown and depressing place which, I was told, is not recommended as a place to visit in the evening, especially over the weekend, as it is very rough and quite threatening. We took the advice given, we looked around the town during the day, but stayed well clear in the evening and had our evening meal elsewhere on Anglesey which is a really lovely island. If you are looking at a simple overnight stay and your reason is to catch the ferry then I can recommend the Travelodge. If it’s to enjoy the delights of Holyhead I’d really not bother - there aren’t any.

We stayed for one night before traveling to Ireland we were welcomed by a very friendly lady who helped us order takeout The room was clean and tidy plenty of fresh towels and beading very quite excellent parking facilities

Very pleasant staff. Clean rooms with comfortable bed. Tea coffee supplied in room. Breakfast to go if required. Great fluffy towels. Check in was seamless. Good communication throughout the booking process. Wonderful location for ferry port. Will use in the future

My wife and I stayed here for one night on a quick trip to visit family, I'm from holyhead originally so it's location near the port and town is ideal, we have used the hotel before and find it clean, bright and spacious, it's also very quiet with no noise from outside, I only met two members of staff and they were both friendly and helpful.
