Just an overall pleasant and wonderful stay!! Almost 2 years ago, my Uncle experienced a life changing medical event, deeming him permanently physically disabled. Going from a fiercely independent tradesman to completely reliant on others is a transition he has struggled with. This trip was the first time since the event that he has been on holiday and it was for a family weekend (20 of us all stayed on Angelsey and spent time together). We booked an accessible room at the Premier Inn as we believed this would be the best option for a wheelchair reliant person. The room itself was clean, tidy and accessible. Basic but exactly what it said on the tin. My only gripe in the room would be an extra bed or even a pull out bed of some sort. Often a disabled person will travel with someone who has caring responsibilities and it is not always appropriate for them to share a bed or book an extra room. The staff. Just wow!! So welcoming, positive and attentive. As it was a bank holiday weekend, the staff were obviously run off their feet and very busy however they were always friendly and polite. I didn't stay at the Premier Inn but I was there morning and night to tend to my Uncle's medical needs and there were not a time I was unwelcomed or felt uncomfortable. Staff all had a can do attitude and a willingness to help! They assisted with the basic things like opening the doors for a wheelchair user despite being very busy, they rearranged dining places to accommodate the wheelchair, nothing was too big of an issue. Ever! The staff single handedly made the trip and my Uncle, who was nervous to go on holiday for the first time, 200 miles away from home and all his comforts, is eager to rebook and go again. Thank you so much for helping us to make memories when 2 years ago we were almost robbed of the chance!
