It is easy to rent kayaks, hiking boots, and road or mountain bikes. Hundreds of miles of hiking trails are maintained in the White Mountains.Plan ahead for a colorful autumn vacation. From late September to late October the mountains are dazzling with color. Drive around and see outdoor 'pumpkin people' displays in the towns of North Conway and Jackson. The hiking trails are beautiful with colorful leaves below and above. There is plenty to do in the Mt.
