Coming here is like entering the paradise by mistake 💐 As soon as I entered the homestay, the hydrangea in the courtyard was open, blue and purple, white, and romantic by the bamboo hedge. The pond koi wandered leisurely, the terrace was surrounded by green plants and flowers, sitting and drinking tea, and the mountain view came in slowly 🍵
The room layout is ingenious, and the details hide the owner's love of life. The lady boss was very welcoming ❤️, she picked us up in person, introduced the tourist attractions in detail, and took the initiative to call us after our visit. The food was especially delicious, including braised pork and bamboo shoots, roasted pepper preserved eggs, and the rice noodles for breakfast were super delicious 😋! The homestay is very close to Chairman Mao's Square, with pleasant surrounding scenery, surrounded by green mountains and green waters, quiet and eye-catching. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable, and the bathroom had a disposable toilet pad. The chicken soup is delicious, the meat is compact and Q-pop, and the breakfast, lunch and dinner are all tasteful. The proprietress was refreshing and capable, and took the initiative to pick us up. This inn is still very much beyond expectations:
1. The inn is in the scenic area, very convenient, very close to the statue of Chairman Mao, the former residence, and the innkeeper helped arrange the scenic spot, otherwise the first time I drove over, I really don’t know how to enter.
2. The inn is very clean. The inn is a building of its own, like a three-story villa, which is very clean.

The boss brother was very enthusiastic. He picked us up at the high-speed rail station and helped us with our luggage. The next day he left and helped us contact the car. The homestay is very clean and feels like home. The location is opposite the former residence of the great man, the life exhibition, and the bronze statue square are also nearby. GGuest UserThis is a very typical rural B&B, with a restaurant on the first floor and guest rooms on the second and third floors. The B&B is located in a village at the entrance of the scenic spot. Parking is allowed and pets are allowed. It is about 500 meters away from the former residence of the elders and the Bronze Statue Square. The owner's service is warm and the room is clean. The facilities are simple and outdated. The bathroom did not provide bath towels and there was no shower. The bedding may be too basic and make a twitching sound when you turn over. In Shaoshan in March, the temperature at night was very low, so I needed to turn on the air conditioner, but the sound from the outdoor air conditioner was loud, like a tractor. When I turned off the air conditioner, the same sound came from the outdoor air conditioners in other rooms, and the quilt was a little thin. Great choice for light sleepers. It’s okay to just pass by on a self-driving tour and stay overnight.

GGuest UserThe couple running this renovated traditional home in Mao's home village are very attentive to guests' needs, even on the busiest day of the year, December 26th, Chairman Mao's birthday. My partner was coming down with a cold and got some ginger soup to drink. Additionally, when we screwed up our schedule and almost couldn't make our train out of Shaoshan, with no train available to reschedule, the couple arranged for the husband to drive us to the station for little more than gas money. It's up a slight hill from the other inns and allows one to get a bit of peace and quiet, again, even on the busiest day of the year, when Shaoshan is very worth a visit for anyone interested in Mao Zedong's legacy, given the number of Chinese people who show up to sing, dance, wave various flags and give speeches. Don't make our mistake and schedule the Chairman Mao memorial hall for a full visit instead of rushing though it. The exhibit is full of pictures and dioramas and has English captions for most things.
I also wish we'd had time to explore the pagoda on the hill behind the guesthouse.

The room was clean and hygienic, and the boss was very enthusiastic to teach us travel guides and precautions. He also helped us book a discount ticket for the evening performance ”Most Memory of Lushanchong 〞, which is much cheaper than online.
