Wuyishan Homestays

Stayed at Wuyishan Guanlan Shuyuan Space for 2 nights over Christmas and the hospitality we received is top-notch. Every corner of the hotel is an art, especially the lobby area. Love that there is a walking path just behind the hotel and we had good morning walks there. The hotel pick up service from the train service was excellent, the food at hotel was amazing. We had a welcome tea and learnt alot about Chinese tea while waiting for our room to be ready. Several spaces to explore within this hotel, and lots to experience. We used their KTV, played a game of GO and had a tea ceremonial class. There’s free bikes for rental if you’d want to cycle at the park behind the hotel. Wanted to try their complimentary hanfu experience but didn’t have the time to do so. Only downside is that next to the hotel has some renovation ongoing but they aren’t a major blocker since the pros overweigh this con. Overall, it feels like an experience similar to a Japanese ryokan. Very holistic and cultural. Special shout out to 燕燕 and 舟舟 for their meticulous attention to our needs!

The room is clean and tidy. I like the environment. It's very close to the scenic spot and there are a lot of restaurants nearby!

The staff at this hotel were so welcoming! They picked us up from the train station free of charge and added us on WeChat in case we needed anything else. We asked about a good place to hike and they sent us the location of the ticket booth - about a ten minute drive from the hotel. The breakfast buffet was small but filling. Lots of delicious veggies to choose from. It was clean and we had no issues. The only thing I would not give 5 stars is the fact that the walls were thin, so we could hear what was happening in the halls/our neighbors’ rooms. But this hotel is well worth the price and its location!

The location was great. Close to dining and the buses to Wuyi Park. Go behind and you get great views of the river, bridge and the mountains. The staff were nice and were very informative even if they can't speak English. They gave us a ton of free welcome and departure gifts! Our room faced the street but couldn't hear any street noise - they provided ear plugs just in case. Very nice and comfy with working Aircon and best of all free laundry and dryer!! They even have free laundry detergent. Free dessert soup at night. Definitely recommend!

I have traveled all over the world and Shiyanli B&B is one of the best places I've ever stayed at. We were lucky enough to get an upgrade to a higher floor upon arrival. The view from the window was the majestic Dawang Peak. All the furnishings were modern and high quality. Fruit and Da Hong Pao tea was provided in the room as well. The other side of the experience was the tea room. The owner's family runs a local tea shop and said their tea comes from within the Wuyishan protected region. The region is known for Wuyi Rock Tea. There were a few options to try and the tea was extremely good. We purchase several boxes to take home to share with friends and family. It is a little bit difficult to get by without some mandarin Chinese knowledge, like everywhere else in China, but I wouldn't let this deter you from staying here. The staff here were the most helpful and kind.

Save money: Recommended! ! ! Traveling in off-season, the boss was very nice and upgraded our room type for us! ! ! The B&B is very close to Wuyi Mountain and is very convenient to visit. The room is double-glazed and soundproof, and the mattress is very soft and comfortable. There is also a tea room in the house where you can drink tea! There is also a terrace on the second floor where you can drink tea, and the atmosphere is super nice! I've been drinking the boss's tea these days, it's very fragrant, and I've also learned how to make tea.

I’m not asking for help (hahaha)) A family of five went on a trip in the middle of the month and booked two different rooms at once, each with its own characteristics, and I was very satisfied with each room! Breakfast is provided every day, and it is said that the proprietress and mother-in-law have breakfast in the morning I get up at 4 or 5 o'clock and it's freshly cooked. It's delicious and has a rich variety! The overall atmosphere of the B&B is very warm, clean and hygienic. The TV is Xiaomi and you can watch dramas on the screen! The shampoo and shower gel provided are also better than those of high-end hotels outside. use. You can dry your clothes on the roof, which is great for tourists like us who stay for a few days at a time! The landlady is also very hospitable, inviting us to tea, giving us tea, and chatting with us about daily life, making us feel at home. It feels so good! Overall, my stay was very comfortable and satisfactory. I must like it👍🏻

Although the location of the homestay is a bit remote from the scenic spot, it is suitable for family travel. The room type is very good. The three bedrooms are comfortable and spacious, clean and convenient for parking. The housekeeper is very nice and warm and cheerful. The community environment is also very good, the key is the pet-friendly ambassador. Self-driving tour recommended 👍

The B&B is located near the Wuyi Mountain Scenic Area. Transportation and food are very convenient. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The street view room we stayed in was also very quiet. There is a tea room on the first floor and a beautiful back garden. The boss and the boss's wife are very nice. You can communicate with them at any time if you have any questions! The garden view room is backed by the park plank road. The air is very good. I didn't book a room this time. I will come again next time!!!

There is also a puppy named Qiuqiu in the homestay, which is very cute. There are quite a lot of farmhouse dishes and local restaurants around, and there are also early ones. There is a taro cake made by an old grandmother that is very delicious and delicious. She will close the stall when she goes late! Finally, after the room was booked, I found that the price was actually reduced. After the order was confirmed, it could not be modified. I asked Trip.com to find a merchant. I asked the merchant to say that it was a Trip.com activity. I hope Trip.com and the merchant can improve in this regard. Originally, the price of accommodation for the National Day was higher and acceptable. Of course, the price reduction was better, but the price reduction before the stay was not guaranteed, and the interests of the booked people could not be guaranteed...emmm felt not very good.
