The sleeping quarters consist of 2 bedrooms, one is king and the other offers a queen bed. This home will comfortably sleep 4 guests. The kitchen has all the equipment needed to cook meals: fully-equipped, open plan kitchen | full-sized refrigerator, oven range | dishwasher | microwave | toaster | coffee maker | utensils | 12 piece non-stick cookware sets while there is a gas grill for use as well. The dining area seats 4 people. The front door has a coded lock for front door entry. There is free street side parking and a driveway for use in the back. Our Roku TV gives guests access to streaming services. Help yourself to all our appliances. In the newly renovated bathroom, shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner are provided. The back deck provides relaxation and restful place for sipping hot coffee in the morning or reading a book! Welcome to the Spring St. Cottage! Our 100yr old newly remodeled home is located in the heart of New Albany. Beautifully decorated living space with spacious rooms, comfortable furnishings, and great amenities. We have a fully fenced backyard ideal for those traveling with little ones and pets. We are just minutes from downtown New Albany, 10 minutes from the YUM center in downtown Louisville, and only 10 miles from Churchill Downs.We want your stay to be enjoyable, welcoming, and relaxing. Our home features a beautiful entry way upon your arrival with live plants, deep colors, and a creative style. The main level features the primary bedroom with darling little sitting area, living room, fully stocked kitchen, dining room that can seat up to 10 (please ask for table leaf if needed), and a full bathroom with washer/dryer (laundry soap available). The second level boasts 3 bedrooms, and a full bathroom with standup shower. Each bathroom has shampoo/conditioner/body wash available as well as a blowdryer. Please note that the 3rd bedroom upstairs is a walk-through for the 4th bedroom/kids room, perfect for parents of young children. We also have a pack'n'play available with sheets for your littles, just ask! A portable high chair is ready for you as well, located to the right of the fridge. Hey Friends! We are located in a cozy corner so although we are located in the city of New Albany it is pretty quiet and peaceful. I Desire to exercise my gift of hospitality by serving you with our home and property.The space• The home is COMPLETELY filtered with a RainSoft water purification system! With all the toxins in our water we made the decision the invest in the most important things first! Your laundry water and shower and bathing water are completely filtered!!! There is a spout for drinking water and the sink water for cooking is also protected!!!• WE CLEAN the home with a RAINBOW cleaning system and air purifier. That way our furry animals and friends are properly cleaned up after.• Two. Bedrooms are located upstairs and both have patio doors to the upper deck area. one room has the King bed and the other has the 4 twins (bunks). There are 2 LARGEish closets so ya’ll are welcome to get creative and use that space as desired.• One queen bed is located down stairs and you do have to step up and down. To access this room.• There is 1 bathroom. Located across from the queen bedroom in the small dining/laundry area.• There is a gym located in the sun room. You are welcome to open the windows for fresh air.• There is a cozy living area and simple kitchen with electric stove, oven, and pantry. There is lots of cabinet and drawer space if you are a longer stay friend and. Plan to use the kitchen frequently.• Washer and dryer available. The water purification system helps properly clean clothes but don’t overload because that will create an impossible situation lol• Smoker and grill available upon request at this moment. Let us know beforehand if you would like it there.Guest access• The property has a large spacious front yard for walking pups (please pick up any droppings <3).• The back yard is fenced and we added a small gate for creek access (great for photos or meditation). It is a steep walk down and have a rope to help guide you. There are little fish, frogs, and even a box turtle that lives in the area! There are little chipmunks, deer, bats at night, and. Oh yes. Mosquitoes lol! (I try to keep bug spray on site but it’s not guaranteed)• There is a Back to Eden style garden and guests are welcome to any produce. We currently (Aug.2023) have raspberries, zucchini, acorn squash, and tomatoes!• There is a greenhouse located on the property but no action happening in there but I do desire to try and get herbs going.• There is a small shed that we keep yard chairs in and plan to try and accumulate some yard games. If you have suggestions or requests let me know!• There is a small electricity outlet next to the fire pit.• TENT CAMPING is allowed and encouraged! We do have a tent to borrow if you do not have your own.• There is a large area on the upper deck that is good for stretching or sun bathing. Please no kids running up and down as that could be dangerous.• There is a fairly large parking area up front so if you are hauling a camper, Atv, boat, ect. they should fit easily.• The back yard is fairly large so if you are riding its at your own risk but you are allowed to enjoy the space.Other things to noteWe DO allow smoking on the property we just ask not inside the home. We ask that the noise be kept at a decent level since this is located in a respectable neighborhood.
