The property consists of 9 acres of mature oak forest surrounding the home, which provides the most serene privacy anyone could ever ask for. Let your dog run free while you enjoy the peace and quiet on the back deck! Driving in, you will follow winding roads deep into the woods which eventually brings you to your destination. The yard opens up to the cabin and just around the corner is a large backyard amongst the waters edge. Here you will realize how much privacy you truly have! Don’t forget to bring your fishing gear and spend a day out on the water reeling in some panfish or bass!Bed & BathThe space comfortably sleeps four guests, making it ideal for couples, friends, or families. The bedroom features one king-size bed and ample closet space. The couch in the living room folds out into a queen size bed and offers a direct view of the lake. What's better than waking up to the sunrise over the water?! Additionally we offer a convertible air mattress that can be used either as a king size bed or two individual twin size mattresses. The home has one bathroom, which features a beautiful stone tiled shower and tub combo. Feel free to utilize the washer & dryer during your stay. Bath linens are provided. Kitchen & DiningThe fully equipped kitchen features a gas range, oven, microwave, and a refrigerator. The cabinets are stocked with a variety of cookware and utensils available for use during your stay. A high top dining table is also nestled in the kitchen area that seats 4. A coffee pot (& filters) is also provided & ready to brew up your favorite cup of Joe! Just steps outside the kitchen onto the deck, you will find a propane BBQ grill (propane provided), Blackstone Griddle w/ Air fryer and patio set - perfect for grilling and chilling! Not to mention, the best spot for early morning coffee or late-night beverages!Extras• AC/Heat mini-splits are located inside home & garage for year-round comfort. A: The lake is currently unnamed, its a small quaint lake. It is rustic in nature, great for those who love to enjoy nature! Its a very natural environment, expect weeds, fish, bugs, etc. They are a valuable part of the ecosystem :) Can I bring my boat?A: There is no public boat access on our lake. We do have a canoe, 3 kayaks & a paddle board on site for use during your stay. Lots of public boat launches in the area. Just blocks from the public access, drop your boat and leave it parked safely at the large dock in front of the cabin. The channel protects your boat from the wind and waves without having to pull it off the lake each time you want to use it. Enjoy fishing off of the dock, as well as cruising up and down the channel. Just hop in your boat and scoot on out into premier Otter Tail Lake. There is plenty of parking room for vehicles, snowmobiles and trailers. The cabin features an open design kitchen and dining room. New kitchen appliances. Reverse osmosis installed for drinking water. Large dining table, and a living room area with a fire place and a 70" big screen TV. Enjoy the sunroom, or sit out around the campfire. Gas grill provided. About the Area:Located only a short distance from swimming areas, or take the boat out on the lake and anchor for a swim. Canoe/kayak/paddleboard rentals are available in the area (we do not supply these but they can be rented from nearby establishments). Enjoy fine dining, a burger or a pizza just a few miles down the road. There is a local grocery store, a Dollar General, as well as a fresh produce farm in Ottertail. Is shopping your thing? Enjoy multiple craft stores right in Ottertail, as well as in Perham. Head over to Thumper Pond Resort and enjoy the golf course and water park. Here on business? You can utilize their conference center as well. There are two other 18 hole golf courses within 15 miles. (Balmoral and Lakeside Golf Courses). Plus two 9 hole courses (Balmoral North and Oakwood).
