Fantastic holiday great sandy beaches, crystal clear seas and plenty of sunshine. The staff were wonderful especially Mothilal he was very helpful, polite and professional. He was helpful, welcomed my family with respect all the time..

Fantastic sandy beach, sun and sea pure heaven. The staff made us feel really special paying attention to our every need. Mothilal was a waiter who was very polite and professional. He welcomed us daily with a big smile and always had our particular table ready, he also spoke different languages and dialects which made it very entertaining. He was very helpful!

Absolutely stunning 😍 beach was beautiful, bungalows huge and the outdoor shower was amazing. Air conditioning and fan kept room cool. Saw sharks, baby sharks, rays and lots of different fishies. Some saw turtles from the pier. One morning after a beautiful sunrise a pod of dolphins swam right past the rooms in the shallows. Food was indian orientated but delicious. I specially loved the banana/pineapple pancakes for breakfast, mixed salads at lunch and dinner and the puddings. There was a locely choice of fresh fruit at each meal time too. We never went hungry. Tv had basic channels but we never used it. Only went in pool twice as the sea was our favourite place to be. Bungalows walk straight out onto the most beautiful stretch of beach. We had 107 deluxe room with bath. Staff were amazing, so polite and helpful. Went on local island trip, fishing trip and snorkelling trip (saw 2 turtles and 2 sharks) and enjoyed it all. We saw where the turtles came up onto beach and walked around the island which is around 5k. Didn't hire bikes as way too hot. Didn't use diving either or spa. This was the perfect dream holiday. Take inflatables, cigarettes, spf and Mosquito spray. (All expensive in shop) i didn't get any bites myself, boyfriend got a few but he's a magnet for anything that bites. They do fumigate every evening around 6pm. Long trip to get here but as you arrive in Male, they take you to a lounge with free WiFi, food and air conditioning, help you check into domestic flight and look after you.

We had the best time... the pool was amazing, the food was great - we LOVED the ice cream - and the staff were all super friendly. The sea on one side is relatively strong so yes you have to be careful BUT it is very shallow and the pool is just idyllic. It was peaceful, restorative and stunningly beautiful. Domestic flights are one to consider as they only fly 1-3 times a day so you may have to wait or leave very early but hey that is the price you pay for paradise

I had an extremely disappointing experience at this resort, and I feel it’s important to share my story to help others avoid similar pitfalls. Before we arrived, we contacted the property regarding our flight arrangements. They promised to provide details 5-7 days prior to our arrival, but when the time came, we received no updates. We attempted to reach out again about our domestic flight tickets, but our inquiries went unanswered. Upon arriving at Male airport, we visited the hotel office a day before our scheduled transfer to the resort, only to discover that our names were not on the list. After some back-and-forth, a representative assured us we would receive information that evening, leaving us completely in the dark until the last moment. It was incredibly frustrating to be so far from home without any clear communication. To add to our troubles, a few days into our stay, we received a call from reception demanding additional taxes that were never mentioned in our booking or invoice. They claimed it was a new government tax for tourists, totaling an unexpected $250! It’s hard to fathom that they couldn’t inform us of this charge ahead of time, especially since they had a month to do so. Imagine a family of four or five being caught off guard by such a fee! We requested to speak with the manager for clarification, but he was unavailable. Instead, a junior staff member was left to address our concerns. How can a resort operate effectively without its management being accessible? Agoda even attempted to intervene regarding this issue, but they were ignored for two full months. As for the food, it deserves a mention. It was the worst dining experience we've ever had! They recycled fish and cheese balls for days until they became inedible, and the food preparation was subpar and monotonous. The instant mashed potatoes and flavorless ice cream were particularly disappointing—truly the worst ice cream I’ve ever tasted. The desserts were mediocre at best. My dogs eat better! The bread was stale, at least 4-5 days old, and there was no toaster available. When I inquired about a toaster, I was told it was broken. We were literally left hungry. The Accommodation: Regarding the accommodation, the water pressure in the bathroom was unreliable, and while the shower appeared appealing, it posed a significant slipping hazard. I unfortunately lost my footing and sustained a serious cut on my finger. The beach adjacent to the bungalows frequently experienced strong winds and large waves, rendering swimming nearly unfeasible. To make matters worse, we discovered a syringe hidden in the sand. I genuinely question the circumstances surrounding this location. The island is quite large, which means that guests with limited mobility may require a buggy to reach the restaurant or bar. However, the availability of buggies is not guaranteed, and guests may experience a wait time of 15 to 20 minutes. In summary, I would not contemplate revisiting this island,

We booked our stay through RCI and paid. After paying we were told to pay additional fees for meals which we paid and was expected. We were further required to a further additional charge per day of 51 dollars per person for the festive season, which were we forced to pay as they refused to book our flights in if we didn't pay this over and above the already full board charge. When we got to the island the food was horrific, the poorest quality, and hardly any decent food. We basically lived on eggs and toast for breakfast and dinners were pathetic with people angry and competing to get to the little chicken provided. You are also not allowed to bring alcohol to the island.This hotel is the biggest rip off ever, we practically starved most days as we could not eat most of the food. I would not recommend staying here. The staff are kind and courteous. But we wasted thousands of dollars as there was hardly much food or variety for anyone.
