Peace & Tranquility Perfect cottage in the most beautiful, peaceful location. Cannot wait to return. Rose & Patrick have thought of everything. Ideal for exploring the local area, with some excellent pubs, walks and experiences. Really didn’t want to leave!

Cosy, comfortable stay with friendly hosts in a tastefully renovated and decorated hayloft. The hayloft sleeps up to four in single beds and has ample space to relax as a couple. A couple of 2-seater sofas and a table for 4 proved so useful. Great for a short stay. The hosts are lovely people and gave us a pint of milk to allow us to start our stay with a cuppa. There was also the pleasant surprise of a packet of Welsh cakes on the table. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and tidy - yet relaxed.

We were a group of seven who opted to stay at this beautiful place owned by Rose and her husband. Three of us stayed at the main lodge and four stayed at the self catering lodge for 2nights in October 2022. What a lovely place to stay at and only about a 20minutes drive to the popular Pen Y Fan and Corn Du peaks. We also ventured out to do the four falls hike before leaving Wales, this is a bit further from the lodge, about a 40minutes drive but well worth it. We had a clear blue sky on the day we tackled the two above peaks and on the second day, a clear mild day for the waterfalls. The curtain type fall is without doubt the best because you get to go behind the fall. Since it has been raining leading up to the day we visited, the waterfalls were really gushing out tremendous water, spectacular! All in all, I would definitely recommend this farmhouse lodge to anyone wishing to stay at a marvellous place and within close proximity to the Brecon Beacons park. Thank you Rose.
