The room is on the smaller size - a little be hard to move around if you have a few luggages.
Location is great to all transportation (MTR, buses and trams). Eateries are only a short walk away and close to shops and Causeway Bay.

We stayed just for one night. The hotel was a simple walk from exit A1 of Wan Chai MTR station. Our room was on the third floor but nice and quiet. The breakfast buffet was large and fresh. Check in was smooth, and all staff were friendly. There is a 7-11 and Pacific Coffee across the road to the north, and plenty of local and Asian eateries within a ten minute walk

It’s 5-6min walk from the metro. They upgraded me to the top floor but the room was noisy and I couldn’t really sleep well. I thought it was AC so turned it off but this motor noise kept whole day and night. I tried to call the reception but the phone was broken so i didn’t change my room in the end…the water pressure was not that strong but ok. The good part was that they had a paper cup for drinks for breakfast so I could take coffee to my room.

Check in was okay. I have been an Accor plus member for many many years. Just because I did not book directly with Accor, I was not entitled to a welcome drink. The mattress in the room was too soft for my back as I have a back issue and due for surgery in Jun 2025. Moreover, the bedsheet is dusty. I was scratching when in bed. So instead of staying 2 nights, I decided to check out one day earlier. I understand that I booked a non refundable booking but the staff at Novotel told me to write to Trip.com. When I contacted Trip com, they told me Novotel will not give a refund of the one night because of the cancellation policy. Will not consider staying there again.

It’s in a convenient location but the rooms are small and not that clean, bathroom smells weird and the hallways have no AC.

A really clean and friendly environment, coupled with a brilliant location makes this a worthwhile place to stay.
Less than 10 minutes walk from two MTR stations (Wan Chai, and Conference & Exhibition), and easy access to the Tramway. The room was clean, spacious, and had a bathtub (always a bonus in a place where space comes at a premium). Check-in and check-out were simple and quick. We will definitely be back.

We stayed in this hotel again because of the excellent location to the Exhibition Fair, just 10 mins walking distance. Across the street is the 7-11 store.
The recommended restaurants around the area, 5 mins walk : Joy Hing (roasted pork etc), Kam's Roast (roasted goose), Kao De Chu (congee and noodles), which makes this hotel preferrable. Staff at the concierge are also friendly.
Even the hotel is old, it is well maintained. Using shower in the bathtub is also safe because there is hand rail to support.
Minus : drinking water only given 2 small carton (@200 ml).
