Travelodge Heathrow Heston M4 Westbound

I stayed at the hotel last Tuesday just before I left to go back to New York although it isn’t a type of hotel I would s usually book it was very nice and the staff were very welcoming especially Gurkaran who was there when I checked in the evening needed help taking my luggage up the stairs and he instantly was ready to offer me help definitely recommends hotel for people who are going to Heathrow

The location is a bit hard to get to since you are forced to use the motorway and the satnav takes you trough an industrial zone. Thankfully we rang the hotel and receptionist Daniel gave us the correct directions. Hotel itself is close to airport and the facilities are good.

Akaash on reception was very helpful and polite. He checked us in with a smile and friendly welcome. The rooms had been recently done up and looked very nice. Only negative was no nets on windows for privacy when looking onto carpark. Great location right next too services for food. Was very easy to get to Heathrow from here.

No-one on reception on arrival, front doors were locked and no answer on phone number given. Had to wait 15 minutes for staff to arrive. Youths smoking **** outside the reception. Paid for a king-size bed with the new mattresses and new decor as advertised, but was given a family room with a double bed and 2 singles, all with the old hard mattresses. Room was clean but tatty. Very hot, had to use the fan. Was told on reception that it is first come first served. Which is not acceptable when I've paid for a better room in the first place, yet it hadn't been reserved for us. So overall disappointed.

I had a wonderful stay and would like to highlight the excellent service from Alisha at the front desk. She was warm, welcoming, and very professional, making the check-in process smooth and pleasant. Throughout my stay, she was always approachable and ready to assist with a smile, which made me feel well taken care of. Thanks to her hospitality, my overall experience was even more enjoyable

Not a very nice hotel, room's were too warm even though they had fans. I was mis sold the breakfast boxes and not offered a refund for them
