Forget your worries in this spacious, open concept and serene home located in a lovely, safe, family friendly neighborhood. Completely stocked kitchen with high-end appliances and granite counter tops, large dining table with plenty of space to enjoy dinner with your family. Enjoy relaxing on the large back porch with patio furniture or enjoy a game of air hockey located in the garage. Located just a short walk to Optimist Park with walking trails and playground for the kids.
The space
To enter home you will have two steps up on to the porch
Living room- 60" T.V with pull out queen sleeper sofa
Kitchen- Fully stocked, granite counters, kitchen island with seating for four, dining room table with seating for 10.
Master bedroom- King bed, T.V., work desk
Master bathroom- tile shower, granite vanity.
Bedroom 2- Queen bed
Bedroom 3- Queen bed
Bathroom 2- Shared between bedrooms 2 and 3.
Bedroom 4- Queen bed
Bathroom 3- located in bedroom 4.
Lovely patio with seating, spacious yard for playing, air hockey table in garage.
Guest access
Guests have access via lockbox. We will send you an access code that is unique to the day of your arrival. Code will be changed after each guest.
Other things to note.
*YMCA Access: We have worked it out with the YMCA that our guests can use their facilities for free for up to 7 consecutive days. Enjoy multiple pools, gyms, tennis courts, racquetball courts, etc. You can use the YMCAs in Raleigh, Chapel Hill and Durham.
HOUSE RULES:
-Four cars allowed maximum
-Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
-Pets are NOT allowed at this property. There is a $400 fine for unapproved/undisclosed pets.
-Parties: We do NOT allow parties. If you have a special event or gathering request, we will consider each request on a case-by-case basis. If there is evidence that a non-approved party/gathering has been thrown, you will be assessed an extra cleaning fee up to $500.
-Overnight Guests: Please make sure you enter the accurate overnight guest count when booking. As you can imagine, when 1-2 people spend the night, the wear and tear on the house is far less than when additional guests are in the house. Although this property can sleep more than 2 guests, the base price is for 2 people. There is a $15 per night price increase for each additional guest staying in the house over 2 people (the exception is for infants under 12 months.) Putting in your accurate overnight guest numbers PRIOR to booking will ensure you can see what the correct price will be for your stay.
-Visitors: We are perfectly fine with you having family or friends visit you during your stay. If you are planning to have more than 2 visitors who will NOT be spending the night, please let us know. At no point can there be more people at the property than the maximum house capacity listed. (For example: if the house sleeps 8 and allows you to book for 8 people, then there can never be more than 8 people at the property – even if they are just visitors stopping by.) If this rule is not abided by, there will be a $40 fee per unapproved visitor.
-Fire/Smoke: It is a property rule that there are to be no candles, smoking or burning of any kind in the property. This does include not having any fires in the fireplace. We charge a $200 fee if there is any indication of any form of burning/smoke in the house. (This is for the safety of our guests and to protect the property.)
-Excessive mess: If the property is left excessively dirty there will be a $100 fee for extra cleaning.
-Late check-out fee: Late check-outs are allowed only if explicitly approved.
-Guests must provide a working telephone number. If the telephone number does not work, then the reservation can be canceled without refund.
-We will always go above and beyond for you. To that end, if you have a complaint about any aspect of the property (amenities, cleanliness, etc.) upon sharing the complaint to us or vrbo you are authorizing us to come into the property to fix it. (We will always attempt to call you before entering to fix the problem.)
-Locals must contact host before booking.
-Any house rules broken are grounds for immediate cancellation of reservation and departure from the property without refund.
Note: For Security Deposits, VRBO collects these funds and returns them to you if the property is not damaged. As the host we do not receive these funds.
Please remember to declare the total number of guests in your booking, including children aged 2 and up, in accordance with Vrbo policy. This helps us ensure a comfortable stay for everyone. This was a lovely and spacious home. Brad was a great host. The bedrooms were large and comfortable. A few things I didn't like was bringing my own cable. Of course I used the Wi-Fi to tune into the game. BUT, the internet went out and it took sometime to get it back up. I didn't like that the beautiful sliding doors had no curtains or blinds. That is not cool for me. Each of the bedrooms could have used televisions. We saw appliances but no air fryer and no iron and board. The steps into the house were a little much, especially for my 90 year mother.

Could be improved
Everything was fine except a few things. There are several bees that stung all of us! Also there is no puck for the air hockey and water dosent work for the fridge. Other than that everything was fine and we still had a great time!

A Great Choice
The home was welcoming and proved to be just what we needed (4 bedrooms & 3 baths). The Jack & Jill setup worked well for the 3 cousins. It’s centrally and conveniently located within a great number points of interest. The home was well equipped and clean. The sitting area was ideal for a gathering place for breakfast. A great host!!! The host was quick to respond and the check-in flawless.

We visited this lovely home from Baltimore to attend my graduation . It was the perfect home . The rooms were very spacious and accommodating for our family. Everyone had enough room to themselves . All the amenities are upgraded . When you walk in there’s a southern feeling however modern .
