"A time honoured hotel got a new “face” by cultural creative designing. The rooms and the parking lot still express their old ages but good maintenance shall be credited. It seems there are many exchanging staff from abroad, which is good for providing international services. The location is perfect, just right nearby the city hall. Even though the restaurants around this area are plenty, the ones inside Howard are good enough and the cafe on 1st floor is suitable for a family with kids."

"The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. They proactively assisted us with an early check-in and even had our luggage sent to the room. The breakfast selection was extensive. However, there was a long hair on the sink, so the cleanliness definitely needs more thorough checking. Staying on the 6th floor meant we could hear noise from the gym, which wasn't a great experience."

"As we arrived the hotel quite late close to 10pm, and for a night stay only leaving at 9am, we cannot comment much on location. Room wise it is pretty small but the bed, toilet, cleanliness is good. Really not a bad hotel to stay. We will definitely come back again if we ever go back to Taiwan."

"I loved my room - very spacious and it came with a balcony with a cycling padding machine. There are a few things which I dislike are 1.lack of socket outlet - this is very obvious at the work desk area. if I need to work, I need to remove the lights socket and replaced with my laptop plug. So I have to work in very dim condition or to work on bed. 2. height of the socket outlet at work desk area is a bit out - I had to adjust the desk in another direction in order to work. 3. the height of the seat at the work desk area is not ideal - way too low 4. hair dryer is driving me crazy - other than mini size, it stopped every other min. N it would start again after a few mins rest. Other than the above mentioned, I am still happy with the hotel. When I mentioned about the hair dryer issue, the attendants at the reception were very helpful - they passed me another normal size hair dryer. I would come back again."

"I chose this place for a short business trip primarily because it offered parking. I overlooked the 6 PM check-in time, so I had to go out and kill some time before returning. I had originally picked it thinking it was closer to Fukutang Ganban-yoku (rock bath). There are hardly any shops or amenities nearby, and it's located on a very busy road. The price wasn't particularly cheap either. At night, you can feel subtle tremors, almost like mini-earthquakes, caused by the frequent passage of large trucks. Earplugs are provided, but if you're sensitive to noise or have trouble sleeping, I strongly advise you to avoid this hotel. Personally, I was so utterly exhausted that I just collapsed into bed and slept, so it didn't bother me too much!"
