Staying at The Anhill Boutique Hotel was truly a highlight of our trip to Hue. The property itself is stunning—like stepping into a Japanese zen garden with its serene landscaping, thoughtful design, and peaceful atmosphere. We booked the Executive Suite and were blown away by how spacious it was. The room had multiple balconies that overlooked the pool and gardens, offering beautiful views and a real sense of retreat. The bed was incredibly comfortable, making it hard to leave in the mornings. The staff were both efficient and genuinely kind, striking the perfect balance of attentiveness without being overbearing. Breakfast each morning was a treat, with a generous spread of options—everything from local dishes to more familiar Western choices—and the food quality was solid across the board. While the hotel isn’t located in the central part of Hue, that’s part of what makes it special. It’s just a short drive to the main attractions, yet tucked away in a quieter area that enhances the relaxing vibe. If you’re looking for a peaceful, design-forward stay in Hue with top-notch service and a touch of luxury, The Anhill Boutique Hotel is a fantastic choice.

Excellent 5* Stay Brilliant, clean and luxurious hotel close to Hue city but in a quiet setting (typically about 15 minutes in a grab taxi costing around 115k Dong or by taking the free hotel transfer). The staff were absolutely excellent and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. The massages in the spa were the best we had during our stay in Vietnam, the food at breakfast and a la carte in the daytime were both really tasty and fresh. We particularly liked the egg station at breakfast over the weekend. Overall we would highly recommend staying for a couples break.
