Stylish and relaxed, Carters Yard Cottage combines contemporary living with a vintage eclectic feel. Tucked away in the garden of our Grade II 14th century family home. This is the ideal capsule retreat, Privacy, self catering and comfort.
The accomodation comprises of a large vaulted ceiling bedroom with king sized bed, en suite shower room, and dressing room on the first floor. A comfortable base when exploring a beautiful part of the country.The weather was hot and sunny so it was disappointing to find that only one window was able to open and the duvet supplied was perhaps more suited to the winter months.As keen gardeners, we thought the small area we were able to use required some TLC.

Little gem of a place
Lovely historic cottage in the centre of the village. Quiet location tucked away with its own little garden. Everything provided and more. Thank you for the welcome pack, breakfast was lovely. Comfy bed, comfy sofa bed, comfy cottage.Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and will certainly be recommending for visitors to the village.

Beautiful property, spotlessly clean, nicely furnished & very well equipped. Rebecca is an excellent host. I left an earring behind & she went through the vacuum cleaner to find it to return to me, such service!! I would highly recommend this property.

A great find
When we first opened the door from the main street into the garden courtyard we had a feeling the cottage was going to be special. To find it was so well equipped was an added bonus with everything in keeping with the age of the property. We appreciated the good supply of provisions too. Highly recommended.

A cute cottage with great hosts
We stayed for just under 3 weeks and had a lovely stay. A really charming and cute little cottage, hidden away behind the main street in Kimbolton. Though the kitchen is very compact, the air fryer and induction stove meant we could make some meals, and everything else about the cottage is cozy and welcoming. The hosts are great, and Rebecca was always very swift to respond to any questions or requests. Highly recommended.

A Gem of a Place to Stay!
The Secret Cottage is the most stunning little cottage I have ever stayed in. Immaculately clean, beautifully presented and full of the most thoughtful touches.
The bed is even more comfortable than mine at home and the duvet was like sleeping under a summer cloud.
The decor was perfection and I will most definitely be booking again.
Thank you for letting us stay in your wonderful secret hideaway!
