What was meant to be a simple family staycation turned into a frustrating and unsafe experience, all within just 8 hours of check-in. We had paid for an upgrade to the Presidential Suite (~₹55K/night). To our shock, we entered to find a dead lizard on the window — a complete hygiene lapse. Choosing not to escalate, we calmly moved to our original Executive Suite (~₹40K/night), hoping to just enjoy the rest of our stay. But that peace didn’t last. By evening, we experienced a massive ceiling leak in the room — it felt like a rain shower indoors. Our clothes were drenched, and our daughter nearly slipped, creating a real safety risk. Shockingly, the staff suggested we move to a third room — which, after everything, felt tone-deaf and exhausting for a family just trying to enjoy a break. To their credit, the hotel refunded the room charges, but still billed us fully for food and incidentals. We paid, trusting the property would do the right thing — but there was no goodwill gesture, no proactive apology from management, and no genuine effort to make amends. The property itself is outdated, poorly maintained, and lacks even basic amenities like a proper changing area near the pool. Bathrooms are cramped, and service is slow and untrained. We’ve stayed at several Hyatts around the world — and Hyatt Gachibowli does not meet the brand’s standards in any aspect. This was not a luxury experience. It wasn’t even a functional one. Not recommended.
